Chapter Thirteen

The open-air ceremony grounds behind the pack hall was beautifully decorated and Jane sat down at her designated seat next to her mother. The twins sat on their father’s side and Jane’s phone pinged as Reid pleaded with his eyes for her to read his message.

Reid – Jane, I didn’t mean it like that. I would never hurt you. I was just playing since you really got me with that one. I swear!

Jane turned her head to look at Reid and then she typed out her own message.

Jane – Gotcha!

Reid read the message and then looked up at her as she smiled at him and waved with her fingers. Reid shook his head and smiled. Round tables were made up and she looked out at the pack sitting there, talking in low voices.

They all stood up as the music started and the doors opened to reveal Kyle and Sarah. They held hands as they walked through the aisle like parting between the tables and came to stand in front of the grand Alpha table.
