Chapter Twelve

Reid checked them in at the reception desk and Ryan stood behind her with her bag. Her phone pinged and she looked at the text from Sebastian. She half turned her body so Ryan couldn’t read it over her shoulder and opened the message.

Sebastian – In our rush I totally forgot to give you your present. I guess we’ll have to do it soon if you want it.

She closed the messages and tucked her phone back in her pocket just as Ryan stepped forward. Reid turned with three key cards and nodded his head towards the elevators. The doors were made from shiny glass and she caught both twins staring at her.

“You have to stop doing that,” Jane hissed as the elevator doors closed and took them up to the penthouse.

They both smiled at her, looking sheepish and her mind couldn’t put that together with their normal cocky behaviour. The elevator dinged and the doors opened to reveal a hallway with one door. Reid placed his card against the slot and the door clicked.
