CHAPTER 1 | BARS

Death. The stench of it lingered, suffocating the air around me. It wasn't just the rusty tang of blood; it was something sweeter, heavier, that clung to the back of my throat. I inhaled deeply, my pulse quickening with the scent. My claws dug into the damp soil, the grit grinding against my paw pads. Beneath me, something warm and soft shifted-flesh. My sharp nails caught, tearing. A shudder rippled through me, part ecstasy, part horror. Something was wrong. The cold wind kissed my fur in the wrong direction, carrying unfamiliar scents. My body moved on instinct, limbs obeying a command I hadn't given. I felt trapped inside my own skin, an unwilling passenger. The sharp bark of my brother's voice cut through the haze. "Nyra, no!" I snapped my head toward him. Brian stood there, his face pale and taut, his golden eyes wide with a mixture of fury and fear. My breath hitched. Why was he here? Before I could process it, Ceylan's smaller form barreled into me, shoving me back with

CHAPTER 2| WENDIGO

Being starved to death was fine, but being enslaved was not for me. I would rather get my hands chopped than be tied to the pole of the main grounds in the packhouse as every pack member does what they want with me. This has been Silverfang’s way of dealing with the prisoners. A punishment before even being served justice in a trial. They had just finished removing one of my nails, some even grabbed my hair so much that I am not surprised I might have gone bald. The trial would be in two hours, and what am I doing?I am here still being punished by my fellow pack members. The members who promised loyalty to my father and had made an oath to never even touch a single strand of my hair. But they did. Judging from their ecstatic expression as they punished me, I know they must have waited their whole life to do this to me. The trials carry unfair rules that I have to fight for my life while beaten up. They would make the prisoner compete with one of their representative, the stronges

CHAPTER 3| DARK CLAWS PACK

He said some of his secrets, but I forgot it!I sucked in my breath, standing up and preparing myself for the attack while still rummaging through my memory. However, just before the Wendigo was fully released, Brian stepped in and yelled, “Brother, no. We need help from the nearby pack. Let’s marry her off.”Ceylan paused the release of the Wendigo and turned to our brother, “What?”“Once the Rogues come and attack us, we don’t have enough power to even defend ourselves, even lost two of our greatest fighters.” He continued, “The allied packs won’t trust you easily, they need to get something in return…”My eyes darted to Brian, giving him a what the fuck look. If this is his way of saving me from death, then he’s wrong. I’d rather fight the Wendigo than be sold off to another pack!Ceylan thought about it for a moment, and nodded, “Wait, I changed my mind. Return the Wendigo inside. Prepare Nyra as we’ll send her off to one of our allied packs.”“Alpha Fenris of the Dark Claws Pack,

CHAPTER 4| COMPATIBLE

“You look different,” I commented. The more I looked at him, the more I felt something inside me stirring. An excitement. Eagerness. Not certain what I am particularly looking for….but this is the alpha I am going to be partnered with starting tonight. Why did I even utter those words again? It was just a few seconds ago that I was trying to look for the bright side of staying in this pack for now..that I have enough food that won’t keep me starved, and the members won’t harm me because they respect their alpha and since I am the alpha’s partner, they will respect me too…compared to the Silverfang pack members. “Oh, have you already seen me before?” He said, “How different? Explain.”I blinked, trying to recall it again but my memory was blurry. “Yes, when I was younger.” Was I wrong? Did I mistake him for somebody?“You must have remembered wrong. I had always been handsome like this….enchanting even…” He said boastfully, “And I am not surprised you are too engrossed in me to even

CHAPTER 5| PANDORA

I can’t believe that I would be returning to my pack this soon. It wasn’t even a full moon that passed since I was exiled from there. Just when they kicked me out there, and when I finally thought that I could take my time off before I have enough power to fight my brother off, this damn Rogue Creed is taking me back.I still haven’t made any progress. Back to the start. I still find it hard to believe that he is my mate and questions are still ringing my head. Glaring at the dark tall figure of the scoundrel who is currently taking me as his “kidnap victim” to blackmail me to the Silverfang Pack, I follow his tracks against my will as my hands are tied tightly with a rope on my back. His assistant, Brix, was up ahead to check for any incoming enemies. That loyal follower of this scoundrel is not any much better to deal with too. “Hey…” I started, annoying this rogue. I have an overwhelming desire to test up to what limit he could endure. How many more irritating moves I’ll do to

CHAPTER 6| THE CURE

“Such a useless bitch. Let’s have her return to the other rogues and feast on her until she could no longer walk, ” Commented Brix, which made Creed glare at him. “Shut your mouth, scum. I’ll deal with her in my own way.”He then glanced at me and sighed, “I have a plan. For now, let’s leave.”Ravena pouted, and Brix scoffed.Creed caught on their disappointed expressions, “Anyone dares to complain?” Both of them kept quiet. Nice, so these two are nothing compared to Creed. They knew that they could never say no to him. Which is just to my advantage.I quietly walked behind him and could feel his heavy breathing and body heating from anger, “You’re angry…”He paused and turned to look at me, “Yes because I landed with a useless bitch. No one even wants to be with you.”I smiled at him, not even seriously taking his words at this point, “Why? Do you pity me?”He chose to be quiet and kept walking ahead.“This is why I hate packs. They would easily abandon anyone they find useless.”

CHAPTER 7| VIOLATE

I stopped at his words. What?I could smell his filthy scent and his turned-on scent. I instinctively covered my body from him. It was fun teasing them, but I didn’t want it to end up like this. “Oh, are you scared now?”I laughed my nervousness off, trying to act calm in the water. It was a bit hard to cover myself as he was getting close now and almost in front of me. “Suck on it then, if you’re not scared.”He undressed himself to reveal his full hard-on. I grimaced, not imagining that I touched that earlier in order to save his life.“I just saved you, Brix, shouldn’t you thank me? And I thought I was too filthy for you.” I tried hard to stop him…anything I could think of but to no avail, The look on his face was determined to ravish me. And the whole part of me is shaking in fear.“Oh, that’s exactly what I am doing. Thanking you. Enjoy your meal. You’ll be so fulfilled that you won’t be starving for days. ”“Creed would-““Would what?” He grabbed my hand and kissed it, “He wou

CHAPTER 8 | MY STORY

I was yelling muffled words and Creed looked at me, removed the clothing from my mouth, and raised his brow, “What were you saying?”My eyes couldn’t get off from his face, “You came here to save me?” Creed shook his head, “Nah, I’m just here to rob them and destroy their alliance with the other rogues.”He then pointed at my hands, “You can bite down that rope, right? You can go now.”I was still in shock, expecting him to take me with him as his captive, somehow, that idea was much more interesting to me. “You’re letting me leave?”“I have no use for you anymore.” I knew this was good news, yet his response made me disappointed. “I never wanted those bastards anyway. Since I got what I want, I am good.”“You’re the son of an alpha, you’re breaking your word and-”“Why do you care? Why? Do you want to keep being tied up?”My vision suddenly became blurry, my head rang with an agonizing sound and I suddenl

CHAPTER 9 | ONE TIME CHANCE

We’ve been walking for days now without any direction, or at least with Creed purposely keeping his plan to himself. It’s silent but not the kind where I wish to disappear. It’s the kind of silence where I find it comfortable. My feet were dragging me, yet the two looked unaffected by the heat. Since they are rogues, they probably have been used to this. The mere sun heating us might feel like just a pinch to our skin. The day is getting warmer, but the night is getting colder than ever. “Keep staring and you’ll burn Master Creed’s back.”Ravena teased behind me, breaking the silence. Creed continued walking, and I chuckled at Ravena, not hiding it... “I am still contemplating if it was a good idea to trust Creed for this.” Ravena hummed, “Too late for that. You’re in it for real now….and don’t you want us to help “Help me?” I raised my eyebrows, I mean if that’s alright with your master.” “Stop staing nonsne, Ravena and get backt os couting.” “You just want her to leave so yo

CHAPTER 10| DEVOURED

I have nothing to say. Nor did Creed as we were busy letting our bodies talk. His touch was yearning for me, which was shocking, but not as much as my reactions.Of course, I knew that I would enjoy seeing him in that state, but I never expected that I would enjoy, being touched by any man. Not just any man, but this cruel, merciless werewolf. It wasn’t that long when I would cringe at the mere touch of any man, but it is now happening, I am letting him devour me. His hands roamed around me, and although I teased and urged him about it, I was expecting this to come to an end, like someone intervening, like Ravena.“You keep on looking at anyone but me..” Creed mumbled, “Focus on me, Nyra..”The intense stare he was giving me was enough to melt me, and the warmth of his body was also heating me.He planted his lips on mine rather harshly, and I succumbed, bracing myself for the worse. I think I am regretting it now. The version of myself a few hours ago shouldn’t have teased him too
