A Little More to Love のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 1 - チャプター 10

Leena's POVI'm taste-testing the pack meal to make sure it's to their liking. If it isn't, I may face another beating. I'm usually discreet about this task as I know that they don't like when I eat their food. I grab a clean tablespoon and dip it slightly into the chili that I've made. It looks a little too chunky and I wonder if I overcooked the liquid out of it. I take a small bite and savor the flavor of the hearty meat and beans filling my senses. It tastes so good and I find myself taking another bite. I close my eyes to focus on the taste. Savory, slight hints of tomato and other spices, but not overbearing as it was last time. It could use a bit more beef broth, but it would suffice this time. Before I can open my eyes and proceed with the cornbread, a sudden sharp blow makes its way to my head. I fall back and catch myself before falling completely to the ground. I feel sick from the impact, so I head through them familiar basement kitchen with my eyes shut and shove my w

Leena's POVI see Silas return through the blood running over my eyes. He's holding something long in his hands but I can't quite make out what it is. Whatever it is, he hands it to my father. "Here father, I feel like this axe will be the proper tool for her discipline. Maybe we can make it her final one and finally be rid of her pig face. I don't understand how she stays this big when we starve her the way we do." My father shrugs nonchalantly. "She must have gotten crafty with sneaking the food while she was preparing it." He turns to spit on me. "That won't happen again. We'll keep better inventory of our belongings from now on. This is a very nice axe Silas, wherever did you find it? No matter, it should take care of business just fine." He lifts the axe in the air and prepares to thrust down upon my body. I brace myself for the impact when everything stills. My father and Silas go into a trance like state, which tells me there's a pack broadcast alerting them of something go

Leena's POVI can feel this man's strong presence in front of me. He's not making any movement almost like he's studying me. I feel anger rise up in me. I just wish he would get this over with. If he's going to kill me, he's sure taking his sweet ass time doing so. I muster all the courage I can to address him. "Your Majesty, if it isn't too bold of me, please show me mercy and make it quick." Stupid, I'm so stupid. Of course it is out of line to ask him that, let alone even speaking to him. I just can't take the suspense. The silence continues and grows deafening. My fear grows the longer it does. My thoughts run wild at the thought of what he will do to me. Will he make it quick and rip my heart straight from my chest like my brother and father before me? Or will he tie me up and take it slow?My core lights up with a delicious thought of him tying me up to a bed and having his way with my body all night long. I have no idea why I thought this. I've never felt anything like that

Leena's POVI'm running through an endless maze of my pack's territory. I hear footsteps thundering behind me with malicious growls echoing around. I can feel my heart pounding throughout my entire body. No matter where I turn, there's no end in sight and I can hear Silas and Lancaster not far behind me. They're taunting me. "Run little piggy! We're coming for you." I step on a branch and twist my ankle, causing me to fall hard onto the ground. I fight to get up when suddenly there's a foot on my back. I can hear Lancaster laughing as he's finally caught me. Fear washes over me and I can tell that this is it, he's finally going to go too far. I start struggling beneath him as he raises an axe to my neck. All I can hear is my blood rushing in my ears and the scream that I strangle out. I'm still screaming as I wake up. Thank the Goddess, it was only a nightmare. But that doesn't stop the fear taking over me. My senses are foggy as I start to come to. My head feels like it's split

Leena's POVI open my eyes to see the most beautiful man standing at my side. He's pinching the bridge of his nose in annoyance and exhaustion. This is King Damon Saxe. The Lycan ruler. I should be trembling in fear, but I can't help but feel warmth while looking at him. He has a large frame, with a height roughly around 6'5" and bounding muscles that take up the space around him. There are scars on his face, which has dark stubble on it, but that doesn't marr his rugged beauty. The sharp, chiseled features of his face soften as he opens his eyes to meet mine. My breath leaves my lungs instantly. His eyes. His icy, silver eyes pierce through me. "Leena, you're awake again. Every single time I think you've finished sleeping, you drift off. How are you feeling?" He gently helps me sit up and adds another pillow behind me to give me comfort, then sits next to me. "Your Majesty? Where am I? What's going on?" Guilt washes over his face. "I had to wipe out your pack a few days ago. I
