ANASTASIA I am walking aimlessly along the sidewalks. It takes me twenty full minutes to stand up and walk away from Miller Inc. Ana didn't know what she was doing in front of the now familiar building again. Last time she was kicked out on her butt and even rubbed my dear a little before gulping. Nora had convinced her to head back to Miller Inc the next day and only told her she had the green light to have the interview again. Ana could only trust in the words of a person she barely knew but what had pulled her back to this building was knowing about Adam. Wanting to know why he chose not to know her was eating her up inside. With a heavy sigh Ana pushed the glass doors open and walked into the familiar space. The receptionist had a look and Ana already thought she would get thrown out again. She wasn't ready for that kind of humiliation. “Madam aren't you...” The woman behind the reception desk started but Ana was quick to cut her off with her confident talk. “I was given another chance at the interview. ”The woman obviously didn't buy it and got her eyes focused on ths computer screen in front of her. “

Woah! I can't believe I'm back here once again, gosh I almost forgot all about this book entirely. But I decided to return back to this book. A lot has happened since the last chapter, I was lost for a while and had to emotionally stabilize myself. I won't lie, the reason I dropped this book was because when I started writing it, I had hoped for a lot of readers to read it, so when it wasn't gaining the attention that it deserved, I felt really less motivated each day. But of course that was my young author mind back then and I was still a newbie in my brain. I have matured a lot now since completing HIS CAPTIVE ANGEL, so I'm thanking a few readers who still sought me out for this book. I honestly didn't think that anyone would still be interested in this book, but I was wrong. Thank you to those who still are here and are still patiently waiting for this book to commence. Ana woke up and felt a bitter taste in her mouth. She tried to move to her side and groaned when she felt the soreness of her muscles and her left ribs. There was also a huge arm sling from her right shoulder down to her right arm. She bit her lower lip when she heard a woman telling her, “You're awake.” Ana forced her eyes to fully clear before she saw a woman seated by her bedside.
