Marrying Mr. Arrogant のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 21 - チャプター 30

Unwillingly, I got ready on Saturday, wearing my black shirt and black waistcoat, rolling my sleeves to the elbow, watching my wife getting ready. She wore the matching dress, doing her hair as I stared at her, not removing my eyes from her. She was smiling, applying her makeup, looking angelic.‘How could I tell her she looks beautiful? In fact, when did she become this pretty?’ I thought.Watching her intensely, covering my mouth as I opened the first two buttons of my shirt temptingly when she applied her lipstick, not noticing or she probably noticed. Who knows?“Argh. I can’t put this on. Can you help me?” She called after failing to secure her necklace. Her hands were shaking slightly. Not daring to look into my eyes with a blush. She noticed. She definitely did. In these two months, I had known whenever I stared at her, she got flushed. It was my affect on her.“Sure.” Clearing my throat, I rose from my seat and stood behind her. She was so small compared to me.Securing the

Later, only a week was left for Jacey’s engagement, everyone was madly working, decorating the mansion as it was going to happen here. It was Sunday and I had so much fun with Jacey. I had a lovely and delightful time. I was excited to wear that pink dress Jacey gave me. “Saafia! Do you have a list of things for decoration?” Jacey called me from downstairs. Grinning, I happily ran down the stairs. He was standing in the landing area. Looking eye-catching as always in his black shirt. Three buttons opened, revealing his toned chest. Sleeves rolled perfectly to the elbow, always looking immaculate. He was on his phone with one hand in his pocket. “Yeah! I do. I have it- Ah!” I was so excited and twisted my ankle, slipping and falling in his chest. Stopping, he quickly grabbed my waist to refrain me from falling but I hurt my ankle badly. “Can’t you watch where you are going, woman? Are you hurt?” He whispered worriedly, cutting the call and putting the phone back to help me

In the evening, I returned home. My mind was unable to shift her thoughts, I was enraged to know what she told Sam. And how dare she hold his hand. I was furious, how could she? When she didn’t hold mine willingly. Most of all, why did she make our personal matter public? “Oh, welcome, Dariel-” “Hmm.” I hummed, putting my hand in the air to stop her. Jacey and Sam gave me a weird look but I ignored them and barged inside our room with a growl. My mood was ruined absolutely anyways. “Saa-” The moment I was about to scowl at her, she got up immediately, her face glowing to see me. “Oh, Welcome home. I was waiting for you!” She beamed, rushing to me. Why? My furious self was only greeted by her grin, wearing a necklace which suited her beautifully, moving around gracefully to show me. “Look, I got this matching pink necklace for my dress. It was so expensive. Jacey said it was fine. Can I keep it?” She asked innocently, showing me her necklace. A necklace made her del

After he left, my eyes were affixed on the hand he held. Curling my lips in a sincere smile, I brushed my thumb over my wrist. I could understand his hesitation. He was not used to all this. Exhaling, I was looking down as Jacey rushed to my side, “Are you okay, Saafia?” Having no idea what happened to her brother, he walked away without a single word. Blinking, I came to reality, turning my head to her. “Huh? Yeah, yeah. Did you take the picture? Show it.” I continued to smile, looking at the picture. Having the perfect pose I always wanted to capture with my husband. “Send me this right now.” I grinned, setting that picture of ours as my wallpaper immediately. “Wow, you guys were looking intense. I told you, you guys look perfect together, didn’t I?” She whispered. And this time, this sounded like a compliment. When she first said it, it felt weird, outrageous but now, it felt.. Good. Why? How was this possible? “Thank you.” Whispering shyly, I tugged my hair behind my ea

SAAFIA’S POV:-Shit. Shit. Shit.I could feel all the progress we made was fading, it was eradicating all because I spoke some words in a spur of anger back then. Because of my few mindless words I never thought I would lose everything. She didn’t think twice before telling everyone. She didn’t think about her brother’s image either.“Dammit. What should I do?” I muttered, pacing around the room after changing my clothes.Dariel worked hard to clear up his name and she smeared it. And the thought of what he would do to me was frightening me. ‘Is he going to hurt me physically?’ I thought worriedly, chugging some water to calm myself. Pushing my hair behind from distress. Some time passed and my fear was increasing. Sitting on the bed, I was clutching the sheets, before I knew it, he entered holding a hint of dark, malevolent eyes.“D-Dariel…” Murmuring hopelessly, I got up, clutching his sleeves. Narrowing my eyes, tears recollected.Holding a stoic face, he inhaled sharply, removin
