I watch them all leave from the rooftop of the house. I decide staying here is the best thing for me. The air is nice and cold and I'm not stuck in a new place where unknown scents linger. A little past ten p.m. my heart started racing for no reason and it hasn't slowed. I'm sitting outside alone with only my thoughts to accompany me.
