Lexi’s pov“Will this affect my pup,” I asked her in growing concern.“My colleague will give me the results once he has gone over it and will relay the information to me. I will call you in to let you know. In the meantime stay away from the bloodsuckers,” Melissa asserted.“One has been searching for her and calls her the special one. Do you know why that would be,” Nolan inquired. The doctor shrugged and shook her head.“I don't know but if my findings are correct Lexi's vampire can be awakened by a vampire's bite and if that happens the change could affect the pup she carries,” she muttered and I gasped. With my eyes downcast I felt devastated.“Why didn't you tell me anything Nova,” I asked my wolf in my mind.Hearing her shuffling she answered me with a huff.“I didn't know,” she whimpered and I found that hard to believe.“We should schedule a future appointment for the pup,” the doctor suggested.“We will call to set one up later,” Nathan said.“Well, there's nothing more that

Lexi's povAfter dinner, both Nolan and Nathan got matching tattoos on the same right shoulder.Reese and Freddie finally said their farewells late in the evening and I was eyeing both my mates.“I feel like we should stay in one room tonight. Remember that there are secret passages all through the mansion and I do not wish to be taken during the night,” I said in concern.“If you plan on mating with my brother with me lying next to you both you better think again little lady…I will need my turn too,” Nathan growled teasingly.Rolling my eyes, I wagged my finger at him.“Mating at the moment is the furthest thought on my mind,” I mumbled then giggled seeing the disappointment in both of their eyes.“I could be persuaded,” I said coyly and watched them both grin and start up the stairs.“We can sleep in your room, Lexi,” Nathan shouted as he pulled his shirt off while rushing up the remaining steps.Nolan took his time and glanced back at me with glowing eyes.“You don't have to do any

Lexi's povAfter I was left alone in my tiny prison I scooted back against the cool stone and leaned back as I tucked up my knees and glared at the bedroom I'd been locked within.“What is Vukas saying? Is he coming,” I asked Nova.Resting my chin on my knees I heard the door click and open. My eyes grew large at seeing Lenny come waltzing into the room in a carefree way and stop when seeing me.“What is this?!” Lenny snapped in outrage. He appeared honestly surprised that I was imprisoned in what I assumed was his bedroom. Giving him a half smile I watched him glance around the room angrily and approach me.“The master is behaving dishonorably. He knows that I don't wish to be tempted,” he hissed and I swallowed uncomfortably.Looking up at his healthy face, light hair, and stunning blue eyes I realized he was an attractive creature. The poison of the werewolf's blood had caused his horrible appearance before. The difference was remarkable and I commented, “You look handsome now Lenn

Lexi's povRunning up the stairs and down the hall to my room I caught the scent of both males lingering slightly in the area. My heart started racing but only in vain because neither of them was present causing me to frown.Slowing my pace when I reached my room I jumped a bit when Lily opened the door and smiled at me.“It's Lexi,” she called out over her shoulder excitedly. “It is great having you back, miss,” she said kindly and I hugged her.Thanking her I glanced over her shoulder and saw Reese holding two infants.“Would you bring me some breakfast food or lunch, I'm famished,” I asked her politely.“Certainly dear, you're going to need energy to raise that handsome son of yours,” she chuckled and patted my cheek.Watching her scurry off I headed toward Reese.“Need a hand,” I asked teasingly as I approached her. She chuckled and said, “Oh no, not at all,” sarcastically, and then gave me a pleading look.Taking Kieran from her I glanced around the mint green painted area full

Lexi’s povAs we got closer to the mansion my concern over my leg grew. Why wasn't the injury healing, I wondered.I asked Lenny and he thought maybe it was due to my father's unique genetic makeup.“I can check on it when we get back to your room,” he said firmly and I nodded, trusting the bloodsucker.Lenny traversed up to the rear of the home and opened a slim door that looked like a normal piece of trim.“You'll have to hop through it. I can't carry you through the narrow space,” he informed me with a frown.“It's alright I can manage but let me enter my room first so I can divert my servant,” I sighed and hopped into the narrow wooden space.Pressed up against Lenny he grinned and told me to be as quiet as possible because the ones on the other side of the wall could hear us and vice versa.Nodding, I told him I would be quiet.Gazing up at him with my wolf eyes to see in the darkness I saw the red eye shine in his.“Keep moving or I'm going to kiss you,” he stated firmly.Grinn
