Lexi’s pov two months later Sitting at the kitchen table I was watching Darius sucking on a blood bag and grimacing at him enjoying it.“How come you can be in the sun? I've forgotten the reason,” I questioned him.Peeking at me over the plastic bag he detached his fangs and wiped off his mouth.“I'm like you Miss, a descendent of royalty and royal vampires can endure the sun,” he answered then bit at the bag again.“How are you drinking that,” I asked curiously since he normally fed in private.Removing the bag yet again he sighed.“My fangs are like tiny straws and suck up the liquid. There are two miniscule shafts, one to consume and the other to convert,” he explained and I was intrigued.“Why do you turn to ash when you die?”Darius chuckled and shook his head as he eyed me.“Didn't you learn this in your pack school?”Shaking my head I told him that I didn't graduate due to the bloodsucker's attack.”Nodding he grinned.“We turn to ash so our corpses aren't taken and examined b

Lexi’s pov “What did you see?”Nathan looked back at me and said, “They were talking with my father and when he saw me he waved his hand at me indicating that I should go, which I did.”Huffing I growled sourly and looked down at my two pups.“I want to speak with them,’’ I asserted and my mate's both told me firmly No.“Why not? They're never going to stop bothering us! Let me explain to them that I have no interest in overthrowing anyone and wish to live in peace,’’ I whined.Watching them eye each other in the front seat I saw Nolan nod. Nathan turned to me and said, ‘’If they come to our house then you can speak with them but if they don't I don't want you to try and search them out, alright?!”“Fair enough,” I agreed as Nolan pulled onto our drive and continued up to our house.“We told Lily to prepare a room for the children and she said she would but for now there are two bassinets in our bedroom and two downstairs in the living room,’’ Nathan informed me.Thanking him I giggl

Lexi’s pov Going back downstairs and heading to my mate's I could see Darius's eyes following Adalyn while I presented her to Nolan.“Hello father,” she said to Nolan who was glancing at me and Darius.“Hi daughter, come here and give me a hug,” he said firmly.Nathan came to my side and said, “Darius asked us for advice on courting a female, and Nolan ripped him a new ass hole telling him that he should have allowed her to grow up normally,” he snickered.Nodding my head I glanced at Darius and saw the worry in his eyes.“The poor guy has no idea how to win his mate's heart,” Nova whined in my head.“Mates don't mean automatic love,” I muttered back to her.“Nope they'll need to discover that love themselves,” she sighed.“I'm going to take Adalyn out after dinner for her first shift and run our wolves since I'm certain that she is also a moonless shifter, like her father and me,” I announced and all eyes fell on me.Darius Cartwright looked angered and was shaking his head at me. I

Lexi’s pov After checking that the upstairs mating sounds had stopped we made our way to our bedroom. Showering with both my mates I laughed at Nathan commenting on how Darius's prowess was weak compared to him and his brother. “There's two of you and only one of him so I would take your bragging down a notch,’’ I teased. Kissing each of them in the shower was thrilling for me and I savored each of them for their own uniqueness as I rubbed my bare flesh against theirs. “Well I think we should make some creaking of our own,” Nolan suggested and I grinned slightly, feeling a bit randy myself. “Let's move this party to the bed,” Nathan said while nipping my shoulder. Giggling coyly I nodded and held each of their hands as I backed up to the mattress. “Get you sweet ass in the middle and we will come up on each side of you and dry you with our tongues,’’ Nathan added as his glowing eyes traveled up my nude body I scrambled quickly to the middle and awaited them. Just as we were

Lexi's pov We were at the dining table in Adalyn and Darius's new home finished with a superbly prepared dinner done by Darius's chef. Darius was currently out on his back porch sharing a blood bag with Olivia while my daughter sat with them. The three of them had become inseparable since my daughter's wedding to the bloodsucker. Olivia was even calling them Mom and Dad which tugged on my heartstrings and theirs as well. Kieran was running around after his brother Elliot who had matured quickly like him. They were wrestling with each other in the living room. Patting my full belly I smiled at my two mates and said, “ Our lives are better than I could have ever imagined.” “You don't have any regrets,” Nathan asked me. Pausing to think about it briefly I nodded. “Just a couple. Not finishing school and not getting the chance to rub all of this in the faces of the assholes in my old pack,’’ I sighed. Nathan's cell phone rang and he got up to take the call. “You
