Revenge Of My Four Alpha Mates のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 71 - チャプター 80

Caleb POVRed robes gathered on the floor, dust and spoiled water seeping into the fabric as it dragged one by one as feet thundered past the cell. The chanting rose flames flickering off the walls. In an ominous glow. There was a small whimpering voice in the darkness as long spindly fingers with black markings pointed to the back corner of the cell.“Bring him.” the metal door was unlocked, the rusted hinges dragging long on the stone floor that made my teeth itch. I had been here before. I had seen this … why was this happening again?Luca appeared wide silver eyes and grubby clothes and cheeks. “No, please don’t do this!” he cried, his little fists trying to grab hold of the metal bars. He gripped so tightly the metal began to bend, making the robed figure stop in his tracks. “Remarkable,” one of them said, looking at how tightly he held on.“It makes no difference. If he is this strong now imagine what he will be like in the future,” a shrill voice called blasting the iron with m

Caleb POV I head back towards the office, still shaken from my vision. I want to believe it is Marius behind this working with Helios. That I can rely on my visions but … I was so certain before with Teddy. We have been looking for Luca for what feels like weeks now. There are warriors out searching for him with the rogues. Jaden is checking his nearby packs, Elio his, along with visits to the other cities using a disguise. He can’t evade us for long. He has got to be here somewhere! In my heart I know he is still alive … at least that is all my visions tell me. Even the one where he has grown into a man gives me the courage that he lives. That he survives this.My office door opens with a creak, the same large walnut desk greets me, the same leather ergonomic office chair. The pictures on the walls of my brothers and I, Aurora and I, All of us with the kids, each portrait of the kids for their first day of school. Even our parents are on my wall, Kara and Jaden, too. My gut twists l

Sabastian POV “I told you to keep your mouth shut! We almost got caught! There was a wolf coming right around the tree as we left,” I mind link Ethan, wanting to smack him on the back of the head. I can’t—too much noise could ruin everything. “Sorry,” he grunts back over the mind link. Shaking my head, I let my wolf's senses heighten to see if I can sense anyone else before moving on. The trees are still dense, the forest silent. I can’t even hear a bird sing. What the hell is this place? My wolf apparently loves it the urge to shift and run, taking over that I have to fight with all my strength. Normally I would let him out, run free through the underbrush on my paws as I weave in and out around trees. But the second I shift to another wolf in a foreign pack, they will pick me up as a rogue and attack. Not to mention I have never phased as a wolf. Basically a sitting duck.Ethan appears to be having the same struggles as he fights his wolf to break free and charge through the trees.

Ethan POV “Did you hear that?” I ask, scanning the trees as a few birds disperse from the canopy. “Hear what? Where has that vial gone?” Gabriel grumbles as he delves between the seats of the truck. “Are you serious?” I grumble as a chorus of howls fills the sky and Gabriel stands, turning a little pale. “Oh that,” I give him a sarcastic look, which my brother ignores.“Can you get hold of Sabastian?” I question, pacing around the vehicle and hopping into the driver’s seat. “No, we’re too far out. I’ll drive. If it comes to a fight, you will be better at jumping out. I can stitch you all back up after,” Gabriel growls, opening the driver’s side door.“I don’t think you’re giving my skill enough credit.” he huffs at my response as I get out the car. “I nearly lost an arm,” he mutters to himself as he jumps in the front seat. The engine is already humming as I sprint around to the passenger door. The howling has stopped and I can only hope it means Sabastian has evaded them and not bee

Sabastian POV My body hits the ground with a sickening thud, the shock rattling every bone until the air explodes from my lungs. Am I dead? There’s no sound. No howls. No teeth sinking into flesh. Just... silence. And pain. Too much pain to be dead. I don’t even feel the bite of their fangs as they rip into me. Nothing. So what the fuck am I?I push back into my consciousness … I don’t hear or feel any of it.My eyes open and I find myself flat on my front in the ground, the dirt smushed to my face. Slowly moving my neck to face the other way, I suddenly realise the tree that fell the scent of wolfsbane, none of it is around me.Fuck, I am really am dead.It takes me a second or 10 to process this. I can’t even work out how I feel because all I can focus on is the pain. Why is there so much pain? If I was dead, I was certain no pain was part of the deal. My wolf whines in my head and I realise with startling clarity I am, in fact, alive. But where are the wolves? The fallen tree?I go
