Eeek ...
Ethan POV “Did you hear that?” I ask, scanning the trees as a few birds disperse from the canopy. “Hear what? Where has that vial gone?” Gabriel grumbles as he delves between the seats of the truck. “Are you serious?” I grumble as a chorus of howls fills the sky and Gabriel stands, turning a little pale. “Oh that,” I give him a sarcastic look, which my brother ignores.“Can you get hold of Sabastian?” I question, pacing around the vehicle and hopping into the driver’s seat. “No, we’re too far out. I’ll drive. If it comes to a fight, you will be better at jumping out. I can stitch you all back up after,” Gabriel growls, opening the driver’s side door.“I don’t think you’re giving my skill enough credit.” he huffs at my response as I get out the car. “I nearly lost an arm,” he mutters to himself as he jumps in the front seat. The engine is already humming as I sprint around to the passenger door. The howling has stopped and I can only hope it means Sabastian has evaded them and not bee
Sabastian POV There really isn’t a symbol I hate more. I try crushing it with my palm, but all that happens is the symbol imprinting on my skin. Helios mark. Fucking perfect.I pocket the chain for now, the evidence I need to show everyone else exactly who the Savagemoon pack are. I phase past the wooden fence, coming into the grounds of the pack. Voice chatter as people light fire in torches and a bonfire sits in the centre as the pack gathers around.I move again, inching closer, stepping enough to keep mobile whilst phasing in and out. If everyone is out here, that will make it easier to check the cabins. I phase beside one of the cabins on the outside. There is nothing behind it and those to the side as a few meters further forward. I check the coast is clear before peeking inside the single glaze window. The cabin is small and seems to be mainly one room with a few doors at the back; I am guessing, for the bathroom or bedroom. No candles, light, or warmth is discernible, so I dec
Sabastian POV “I told you to keep your mouth shut! We almost got caught! There was a wolf coming right around the tree as we left,” I mind link Ethan, wanting to smack him on the back of the head. I can’t—too much noise could ruin everything. “Sorry,” he grunts back over the mind link. Shaking my head, I let my wolf's senses heighten to see if I can sense anyone else before moving on. The trees are still dense, the forest silent. I can’t even hear a bird sing. What the hell is this place? My wolf apparently loves it the urge to shift and run, taking over that I have to fight with all my strength. Normally I would let him out, run free through the underbrush on my paws as I weave in and out around trees. But the second I shift to another wolf in a foreign pack, they will pick me up as a rogue and attack. Not to mention I have never phased as a wolf. Basically a sitting duck.Ethan appears to be having the same struggles as he fights his wolf to break free and charge through the trees.
Sabastian POV The Savage Moon pack was very much its name sake. Savage. Their pack was buried deep in the woods south of The Crimson Moon pack. Unlike most other packs who had built cities, towns and, in Elio’s case, a fucking castle. The Savage Moon pack liked to keep to tradition, or as they would call it, in touch with their wolves. There were no roads in or out of the pack. They had 20 to 30 wooden huts where the pack members lived, but most of their time was spent in their wolves. They had little light due to the high trees blocking out most of the sun and zero cctv from what I could tell. The lack of light and minimal security would make this job easy in and out. I don’t even think they have electricity.Due to them being so remote, they hadn’t much of a digital foot print. From what I could tell, they have a few generators that are powered by fire or the sun. Sadly, that meant it was near impossible to find the blueprints of the pack in order for me to phase in and out with th
Caleb POV I head back towards the office, still shaken from my vision. I want to believe it is Marius behind this working with Helios. That I can rely on my visions but … I was so certain before with Teddy. We have been looking for Luca for what feels like weeks now. There are warriors out searching for him with the rogues. Jaden is checking his nearby packs, Elio his, along with visits to the other cities using a disguise. He can’t evade us for long. He has got to be here somewhere! In my heart I know he is still alive … at least that is all my visions tell me. Even the one where he has grown into a man gives me the courage that he lives. That he survives this.My office door opens with a creak, the same large walnut desk greets me, the same leather ergonomic office chair. The pictures on the walls of my brothers and I, Aurora and I, All of us with the kids, each portrait of the kids for their first day of school. Even our parents are on my wall, Kara and Jaden, too. My gut twists l
Sabastian POV “This better be good,” Ethan grumbles as a smirk tugs at my lips. “It is. We’re not faffing about playing nice like we did Teddy. This is a covert operation. In and out.” Ethan arches a brow as Aurora scrunches her face. “Huh?” I’m smirking a little wider. “How exactly are you planning on doing that?” she asks as I lean over the bed and scoop her into my arms. She squeals before going dead, still hoping Logan and Violet stay asleep. “Your too cute in the morning sleepy head,”“Sabastian!” she narrows her eyes at me, only making me grin harder. “It’s a bad idea. If i’m wrong we have illegally broken into a pack. Let’s at least call Marius and see if he would be open to a meeting.” I roll my eyes at Caleb. “Your being a bore,” Aurora frowns at me, her dimples disappearing as she attempts to hide her smile.“If you are thinking of doing what I think you are, then you would need backup.” Gabriel chimes in as I place Aurora down on the bed.“Your not?” she questions, her expr
