Everest Adrienne made her way gracefully to the stage, she collected her gift which was just the same as mine. I felt so happy seeing her win. When it came to Adrienne, I didn't see her as a competitor, I saw her as a true friend, I would always be happy when she wins. He did the same for the remaining set and before we knew it, it was almost time for lunch. “Classes would commence fully by tomorrow, you would be taught all there is to know. All the Textbooks and notebooks needed for your studies have been placed in your individual lockers. The time table would be placed in the notice board, so it's good to check them.” He instructed, we all gave an affirmative nod. This was more like my days in highschool, everyone here should be used to the system. I had expected that after all they would have to select the best for the princes, so Luna had to be skilled in every aspect. But was this my purpose? Was this really for me? I couldn't help but wonder. Something in me felt I belonged

Chapter 23Finn The rogue let out a scornful laughter, “You can kill me but trust me, we are all around you and you wouldn't see us coming. Even when I die, I would die happily knowing that there are more of us from where I came from. And trust me, we won't rest until we kill all of you.” He said.I scoffed, “This means only one thing, you have given me the answers I need. “ With a smile, I walked out of the dark room. This meant only one thing, they had spies which had been with us right from time.“Master, what's your order?” My personal guard asked as behind me. “I didn't get the full details on how Thorax was killed but I found out something more interesting. I would have to pay the old man a visit,”“What's your command about him?” He asked. I turned around the building, smiling wickedly. “Release him,” I commanded.“Huh?” He said, sounding shocked and confused. I chuckled, “You heard me very clearly, I have tortured him enough, let him go.” I commanded, saddled up and rode away

Everest. My heart sank into my stomach, I could virtually feel her brown eyes on me. She spoke with so much command that made me want to yield. Her eyes were burning with rage, I could feel them on me. It was wrapped with so much hatred and the desire to kill at the moment. But there was no way I would hand it over. I had found it, so it had to return back with me. I wasn't going back there without this gem, this was a fact that even the wolf would have to accept. The thought of Alice crossed my mind, but her wolf wasn't this big and white. I had seen her transform so I was sure this wasn't her. And it wasn't any of her crew either. This had to be one of the contestants, but sure enough everyone except Adrienne hates me. Was this how I was going to die? This meant I was indeed useless. “If it's about this treasure, I found it. Go find yours, don't be such a big bully. I won't hand this over to you, I found it.” I said, stressing out my words. I sounded so resolute, to my own surpri

Everest Sometimes I wished I could experience what it meant to shift. There were a lot of things I am missing out on. “You can go back and get some rest and take a good shower. You are a mess!” she commanded, her words bringing me out of my thoughts. I looked at myself and then back at her. I was indeed a mess, all thanks to her. If she hadn't scared me I would have bathed in the soil. “Is there a way I can access my dormant wolf?” I asked, sounding very sad. Beta Stephanie was silent for a while, I felt a flicker of hope as it flashed through my eyes. It seems there was really a way. She walked a few centimeters away from me, “I don't know who you are or what your roots are, if I did, I could help you.” I felt heartbroken, why do these things have to do with my roots? Why do they have to link everything to my ancestral roots? “I had no real idea of who I was or where I came from. I had lost my mother at a very young age and met my father later on. My Father didn't talk much ab

Finn“So there's indeed someone you've taken a liking to?” I avoided her eyes, there was still a lot I had no idea about. I couldn't fully explain everything to her. “Let's talk about something else, if there was someone, I would have told you about it “ I had to shove it off. After we were done, I took her out for a movie. It was already getting late so I booked a reservation for her at my favorite place, The Hidden Treasure. She was amazed by the looks of the place, she had no idea that such a place existed. “This place is indeed beautiful. “ She smiled warmly checking out the whole place, the rooms were indeed exquisite. “Mom, you can rest here, by tomorrow, I will take you round the city. All you need have been ordered. Goodnight,” I said, giving her a peck as I went into the elevator, heading to my special room. Walking into the room, the memories of that night flashed through my eyes. A smile escaped my lips, I could still perceive her scent. Moving over towards the bed sh
