Chapter 1

"Run as fast as you can because if we catch you, you're coming with us." I heard one of the rogues sneer as he chased after me. I ran as fast as my legs could but it felt like it wasn't enough. “They can't catch up with me. I can't escape my former life just to end up in the hands of rouges. I've been hiding pretty well for a year, hiding my scent. How did they find me?” I thought to myself. "We can do whatever we want with her." Another one laughed out loud. "It feels so good to see a rogue that's a girl. I can smell she's not from any park. What a good find!" "We're all rogues, we don't have to run from each other. You're just a lone wolf wandering around. Join us and you'll be safe." Another one chimed in. I tried to block out their conversation as I ran faster. I tried so hard to change into my wolf, but it wasn't working. "Please, please. I need you!" I spoke to her mentally, but nothing happened. I felt sharp thorns cutting my face and legs, causing me pain. I co

Chapter 2

I've not run for a minute when a hand grabbed me by my neck from behind, making my head snap back. I screamed in pain, my head fuzzy. That was when I felt it, the sparks. I could feel electricity on the part of my neck he was holding. It felt amazing and made my toes curl. I hit his hand and I jolted from the sparks. The scent I smelt earlier surrounded me strongly and I could feel my wolf going crazy inside me, trying to come out. My hands pricked as I tried to stop him from choking me. I struggled to open my eyes and the moment I saw his face, I let out a gasp. He had curly long hair that was styled in a stylish way. His face looked like it was carved by angels and his cold gray eyes stared at me with no emotion. He was very handsome. My wolf was trying to communicate with me, but since it had been so long since she spoke with me, I couldn't hear her well. After so many trials of trying to connect with me. I heard it, it was very faint, but I heard it. "Mate." My wolf whispered.

Chapter 3

I could feel my heart break into pieces as I heard the words come out if his mouth. My mate just rejected me. I looked into his blank eyes as he let go of me and I just crumbled on the floor, My wolf howling in pain. “What…What did you just do?” I cried out, placing my hands on my chest, breathing heavily. He smirked as he looked at me. “I told you, I'd rather let you wish for death than kill you. You will die from the pain of having no mate and it will be slow and agonizing.” “How could you be so evil? The moon goddess didn't make us mates for no reason. You should have just killed me!” I screamed out. “Sulking and shouting won't fix anything. Now stand up, we need to leave.” He replied, looking bored and uninterested in whatever I was saying. “What do you mean by we should leave? Haven't you done enough? I'm not going anywhere with you.” I said, hugging my legs to my chest, sniffing. “You really think I reject you and just let you go?” He laughed coldly. “You might not be o

Chapter 4

“How dare you speak back to me! You filthy rouge. Don't you know what you are in this park? You're nothing and you're about to live your worst life ever here. You're going to die and I'll make sure it's by my hands.” I smirked, spitting out the blood that was forming in my mouth and glared at her, not backing down. She got more furious and growled at me, claws coming out of her fingers, ready to attack me when Logan grabbed her by her waist, nuzzling his nose in her neck. “Calm down Valerie, you don't need to get angry because of a bitch like her.” “You need to punish her, Logan. Did you see the way she looked at me? I'm sure she plans to do something evil to me later. I don't like her and I want you to kill her immediately, right now!” Valerie whined. I rolled my eyes as I watched them, disgust evident on my face. Logan looked up at me, angrily his eyes changing colors. He growled and stalked towards me. “How dare you disrespect my mate and Luna of my park? He yelled, making

Chapter 5

“What do you mean by that? What mistake did I make by coming here? How do you even know my name?” I asked, curious, confused and disturbed. “How did you get in here? Show your face, you coward.” I said, trying to act stronger that I look.I stared at the man squatting in front of me, trying to figure him out but I couldn’t. His voice sounded familiar but I couldn’t place where I heard it from. “You’re in no position to ask me questions, rogue. You came here at the wrong time and if you think you can ruin my years of hard work, you’re wrong. I’ll kill you before then.” This park is no place for you to be and if you think you can have the alpha as your mate, you are very wrong. Rogues are to be killed and soon, you will be!” He said, his hands tightening around the cage bars with rage. “Can you just explain yourself better? I have no idea what you’re talking about and how did you know we’re mates? Who exactly are you and—?” I didn’t complete my statement before he was away in a

Chapter 6

The moongoddess hates me. I know that now. Right from when I started to suffer in my last pack, to this very moment of being caught after trying to escape. She hates me. I'm weak, with no wolf. I can't fight to save my life and my mate doesn't want me. The plan was to start a new life entirely, forgetting about Logan, but that can't happen anymore. I groaned as I tried to push the body off me, but it felt like I was trying to lift a heavy rock, it was impossible. I could feel my body get hot and electricity zap through my body. The tip of my fingers were left with a tingling sensation. I had been caught by Logan. He got off me in a flash, and took a few steps away from me and I got up fast on my feet, about to run again when I crashed onto a hard wall. I stepped back and looked back to see what stopped me from running when I saw that it was Logan and the hard walk was his toned body. His hair was wet and disheveled and I could tell that he just had his bath. His eyes were black,

Chapter 7

I laid on the floor in my cage, weak and tired from crying so much. I put the maid in danger and Logan didn't hesitate to deal with her. He whipped her for over an hour and at some point, he forced me to watch her. He didn't stop until she was unconscious. I closed my eyes tightly and the picture of her battered body flashed in my mind. Logan had thrown me back in the cage and told me he'd be back. I sniffed and sat down, trying to clear my head. A mate is supposed to be your special someone, who you share a connection with. I always wished to find my mate and I daydream of how he would treat me, love me and cherish me but I got a monster who rejected me. I was about to fall asleep when I heard two voices talking. I could tell one was Logan because I could sense him. The other person was a female and from the scent, I could tell it wasn't Valerie. I scooted closer to the entrance of the cage so that I could hear them well. "How could you lock her up, Logan? She's your mate!" Th

Chapter 8

The next morning, I woke up feeling hungry. My stomach growled all through the night, so as soon as I woke up, I brushed my teeth and left the room in search of food. I walked around for a while, getting lost in the castle, but it wasn’t for long because I was able to find the kitchen. I opened it to find different servants bustling and working, looking serious. None of them looked approachable and I was about to leave when a voice stopped me. "Why are you leaving? Aren't you here to get something to eat?" I looked back to check the owner of the voice to see that is was a male who looked like he was around my age or younger. I smiled and nodded my head slowly. "Come on in." He said, smiling and I followed him back into the kitchen. He brought out some slices of bread, lettuce, tomatoes and onions and started to make me a sandwich. I liked my lips and my stomach growled out, making me bow my head in embarrassment. "That wasn't my stomach." I squeaked out. "Yeah, it sure wasn't."

Chapter 9

Before I could blink, I was up against the wall with Logan’s hand wrapped around my neck. He wasn't squeezing it yet, but he applied pressure enough to make me gasp for breath. "What did I tell you about how to speak?" He growled at me. "What gave you the right to speak to your future Luna like that!?""I saw her flirting with one of the male servants in the kitchen instead of coming to my room to help me with things that I had planned for the day. You had to see how she was all over the servant." Valerie tutted. Logan growled loudly, scaring me. I could feel the anger rolling off him through the mate bond and the pressure on my neck was getting tighter. I brought up my hand and put it on his, gently, looking deep into his eyes. "Calm down, Logan." I whispered and I saw something flicker in his eyes but it was gone as soon as I saw it. Logan growled out angrily again before releasing me and running out. "You're lucky he didn't break your neck this time but I promise you, that the

Chapter 10

"What…what do you mean by that Valerie?" I stuttered. "I don't think I have to fight with you. I don't want to fight with you, I'm good.""Are you scared?" Valerie teased. "I don't care if you want to spar with me or not. Come into the clearing and let's get started." She said sternly, "I don't see a reason why I should. I'm not even dressed for a fight. How am I supposed to fight you in a gown? It won't be a fair fight because you're fully dressed for this and I'm not." "You're talking too much, rouge." Valerie said with a fake yawn. "I didn't ask for any stories from you. Why are you explaining so much? Do you really think I care? Get in here!"I clenched my fist as I looked at her. We both knew the sparring wasn't going to be like a normal one. She had another agenda and I could see it in her eyes. She was going to beat me up. "We don't have all day, rouge. I have to get ready for my party later tonight. If you're going to be my servant, I need to know how you can protect me. I
