Dear Ex, Your Father Is My Mate のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 131 - チャプター 140

- Kira -Father kept talking about random things after Giselle had gone. However, my mind was not with him at all but on the fact that Jason might be the one who brought the message.I was not happy that Father asked Giselle to go, only because I wanted to see Jason at least. Ever since I saw him the other day, I couldn't get him off my mind not because of anything serious but because of how he was kind to me.I wondered if I would ever get to see him again. Relax Kira, I told myself. You are a princess remember? Those are the kinds of people you get to see if you want to. It wouldn't be long again and an opportunity will present itself where he will be there."You understand?" I heard Father ask and nodded my head, not understanding a thing. Not long after, Giselle walked in with a document in her hands and I was sure it was the contract. But she did not look very excited."Jason senda his regards Dad," she said. "They heard you were not doing fine.""Oh that's nothing," Father waved

- Kira -My laugh died off when I noticed my mother was not getting the gist."You don't think it's funny, do you?" I pointed out, and she looked thoughtful."It's not that," she said. "I am only thinking there is more to it than we know. What if Giselle has a point? You wouldn't think that she would upset the King just like that because she fears the attack was because of the contract. I think she has a better reason for doing that."Then why didn't she just say?" I asked. "If she has a more valid reason, why have to go through this? Because Father is really mad, he does not want to talk to her.""I don't know why she will choose to keep it to herself, but I have a strong feeling something is amiss, which she not telling everyone or at least, she is not telling us."I looked at her, trying to understand what she meant by that, and she went ahead to explain."What if she has met the King after you left, to tell him what is happening? You were there when they discussed it at first, rig

- Morgan -I was chilling in the room with a big smile on my face after a brief conversation with my father and Jason. They were worried about the delay from Princess Giselle's end in signing the contract."Do you think they are having a rethink?" Father had asked."I doubt as much," Jason replied. "Why will they? It's what they have always wanted.""So what's the delay? It's been almost three days, and still no response from them.""Alpha, I think it is a bit soon to conclude. Let's give them more time, seeing what had befallen them a couple of days ago. They were attacked. Maybe they are still trying to sort things out before getting back to us.""I want to believe so," father said. "That is what I have been thinking as well but I worry there might be something else.""I don't think it should give us any cause for alarm, at least, not now."I did not say anything, because I already knew what was happening. Princess Giselle is not so dumb anyways. At least, she has a little fear in h

- Giselle -I stood behind Franklin while he spoke to Father, narrating everything to him. Father had a remorseful look on his face and looked at me when Franklin was done talking."Why didn't you tell me this, sweetheart?" He asked, and tears gathered in my eyes. He was being nice to me now because of what Franklin had done, but a few days ago, he had totally avoided me, and now I don't even know how to feel about everything."I did not want you to get into a big fight with them because I know you would," I told him. "So if cancelling the contract will solve it without anyone getting hurt, then I thought it was the best thing to do.""You shouldn't have to go through all by yourself," he said sadly. "I am sorry this happened. You should tell someone at least. Sweetheart, I am so sorry for the way I reacted. It's just, I did not know what to think of your decision, and because you didn't tell me this, I made my conclusions."

- Giselle -I did not want to attend that party, especially not after what had happened, but I knew better than to reject it after I had tried signing off the contract. What if Morgan had told his father? I feared. But I wore a smile and headed for the Party in the company of Kira, Father and Franklin. I insisted he come along so I wouldn't have to deal with anything alone. It would be much easier for me with him and he agreed to.The party was bigger than I expected. I thought it was going to be a dinner party or something. Alpha Sheka was already at the door to welcome us. He greeted Franklin with so much reverence, happy that he came before turning to me."You have quite a gathering here; I wasn't expecting it," I told him as politely as I could, and he laughed it off."It happens to be our annual gathering where I meet all my business partners and acquaintances, so I thought it was perfect to have you around.I searched his face for any signs, but there was really nothing.
