Dear Ex, Your Father Is My Mate のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 141 - チャプター 150

- Kira -Prince Morgan suddenly had a bright smile on his face like he was not the one complaining just now."But we are going to make good of it," he said. "It's what I have decided to do from now. I realised that allowing all of it to bother me will make me act wrongly and give them reasons to think they are right about me," he said."What have you decided to do?" I wanted to know."To prove to them I can be better," he said and nodded."Do you have to do that? Isn't that what makes you more desperate? The need to prove anything."He did reply for a few more minutes as I waited."We'll see about that," he finally said and I looked away. "I want to apologise again for the way I spoke to you the other day. I need you to know everyone is special in their way. You might not have known anything about the contact but I am sure there are many other things you know about that Giselle wouldn't.""I wasn't very informed

- Jason -"Elder Raphael...," I called out to the elder while I made my way through the crowd with murmurs of "excuse me" as I lightly pushed them out of the way so I wouldn't miss him."You are leaving already?" I asked when I finally got to where he was. I could see that he was leaving, though, but had to be certain and also because his daughter is nowhere to be found."Yes, I am, Jason," he said. "The party comes to an end already, and I don't want to stay any longer as it's getting late.""Yeah..." I dragged and decided to ask what brought me here. "How about Keisha? You are not leaving with her? I uh, I don't see her anywhere.""I don't see her as well," the man said, looking around as if he had just realised he was about to leave without her. "I've had my men look all over for her, but they couldn't find her. I guess she must have left with a friend or something. She knows her way home. I am too old to remain here in the cold while I wait for her.""Oh.. right," I said, struggli

- Kira -I laid down face flat on the bed, too tired to do anything. No, I was not tired. I was just... maybe upset? And upset for no tangible reason I can say.I knew what my problem was, but it was pathetic to agree to such because I knew I had to reason with being upset. My problem started the very moment I knew Jason had a mate. Well, who was I kidding? Such a fine and noble man would have a woman in his life.Besides, I also have a man who is Xavier so why is my heart down because of Jason? I just like him, I told myself. Nothing more. And I want to be friends but now I am feeling like that is not going to work.I could see the blazing fury in Keisha's eyes and I knew she was not there to play. Jason did not even attempt to make her stop disrespecting me with her words. Probably because he loves and respects her so much. So much more than me of course. This whole shit has been me trying to get close to him when he doesn't ev

- Giselle -"I don't think that is something I want to talk about," she said, and I narrowed my eyes."And why?" I wanted to know."Because talking about your mother brings back memories I don't want to remember," she said. "Hell, thinking about her alone is enough to drive me as crazy as she did when she was alive."I did not know why I did not feel anything when she said that. She was speaking about my mother and should have gotten some reactions when she said those words, but I was more interested in the information I was after and the details in it."Tell me about it," I pushed. "I mean, your experiences with her. All of it. I want to know."She took a deep breath before starting."Well, your mother was a very..." She paused, looking for the word to put there. "She was a very strict woman who treated me with iron hands.""Was it just you or all the other maids?" I inte

- Giselle -I knew I had to find that midwife. Something tells me she will have the key information I am looking for about Odessa's death.I wouldn't have gone on with any investigations but for the persistent and disturbing dreams I kept having.I told Franklin so when he wondered what I was trying to find."I feel there's something significant that did happen at her death," I told him. "I can feel it, and I see it in my dreams too. Just, I just don't see clearly to determine what that is. But if I can know where to find that midwife, she might just have the answer to everything.""I don't know where you can find her," Franklin said with a frown. "But I'm going to get you someone who might know where she is.""Oh, honey," I placed a hand on him. "I will appreciate that."While I was busy trying to get some work done on that, Kira seemed to be hanging around me to see what I was up to. She was everywhere I went, and at some point, I had to confront her when I came across her on the ba
