SELENA’S POV:Few minutes later:“What are you two doing here?” Cherry hastily threw on her green V-neck blouse and skimmed around until she found her pair of blue jeans, stumbling in her steps.“Where’s Henry? I will explain to you two later but can you distract him.” I could hear the fear and desperation in her voice, her blood shot eyes and entire being held pleading and she spoke so slowly, it might have taken a minute for her to find her words.“Trust me, it’s not what it looks like.” Julian added throwing on his shirt and hearing his voice just made things worse.Olivia and I looked at each frozen, unable to move, we were taken aback and in disbelief. Julian having an affair with not just anyone but with Cherry? There had to be an explanation, especially being that when I peaked, I saw Cherry in a white robe sitting all the way across by her vanity from Julian who was shirtless sitting by her bedside.“Nope, save your explanation for Gabby and Henry, this is so despicable and I

HENRY'S POV:A MONTH LATER:“Thank you, Frank. This design is to be treated with utmost attention, I will be coming in later this week.” I spoke to the head of production in the company and he responded by assuring me of total efficiency. Though recently appointed, my father had assured me I had nothing to worry about, so I remained calm especially due to the total supervision from more talented members of production.I set aside my work and glanced at the time seeing it was about four in the afternoon and Selena was upstairs grumpily preparing to go out with me. I had woken her up about twenty minutes ago to get ready for a calm, breezy time with me although she had been reluctant. I reminded her of our pact which was to always prioritize and never object to quality time since it was both our love languages.I rose up from my seat feeling giddy as I always did when I was planning a surprise or involved in keeping the secret of a surprise. Olivia had never trusted me with them becaus

SELENA’S POV:GENDER REVEAL PARTY:The match consisted of eight players, four on each team. The blue team consisted of Carmeron, Phil who was the son of one of Mr Scott’s friends, one of Julian’s friends, Tony and of Mr Scott’s friend. The pink team consisted of Julian, Mr Scott, and two other middle aged yet built tall men. And my handsome husband was the referee. Before the game began, Cherry had said with certainty that the blue team was going to win because younger men were on the team but Gabby pointed out that with Julian in the pink team, they were going to win. So just like many others, they had made a bet placing about a thousand bucks on it and shook hands sealing the deal. I noticed Henry had been trying to talk to both Julian and I, while I tried to let him speak knowing what he already wanted to discuss, Julian on the hand had been dismissive in speaking to him , and Gabby and I had concluded that it was getting childish but we had surprisingly become very close over the

SELENA'S POV:A FEW WEEKS:I snuggled into the soft grey duvet and slowly opened my eyes, meeting the absence of the other side of the bed and I sighed deeply. Henry had gone on a work trip yesterday, and I hoped he would be back by tonight as he had promised but it felt so strange not waking up to his handsome face.I laid on the bed thinking about my conversation with the not so ‘mysterious woman’ at the party a few weeks ago.“I forgot what it takes to fit into a rich party especially when it's a private one like this.” She added as soon as she mentioned my grandmother.“Excuse me, who are you? And what do you know about my grandmother?” I inquired, raising my eyebrow in questioning.“You mean ‘our’ grandmother.” She retorted and I frowned looking into her eyes even deeper.“I'm Zoey, daughter of Bianca Park, your mother's sister. I'm a pediatrician at Park & Brown's hospital in Freedom, about four hours drive from here.” She flipped her brown curly hair and stared at me with sinc

3RD POV:A DAY AFTER DUE DATE…It was finally here, the day the couple and entire family had been longing for especially Selena, all she wanted was to pop her child out and meet her beautiful baby girl. Henry had spent nights rubbing Selena’s feet and talking to the child in her belly, telling her about everything that was going on with him, reading stories and singing to her, cautioning her when she kicked in Selena’s belly and wore her out.He would say, “You’re going to be my princess and my everything but don’t hurt my queen. Alright?” His stern yet amused tone always had Selena giggling. She could already see their baby girl taking all his attention and love, and she was excited. With the many gifts she had received from the gender reveal party, she got an S- exclusive camera, a limited edition high quality video camera, to capture the moments. It was a gift from Liv.Today, however, Selena woke up with annoyance and pure frustration. She felt heavy and quite agitated but Henry o
