Vida got to her father's house and from the gates, she could feel some kind of warm feeling overwhelm her. She did not even feel this way when she had left for the States; it felt like she was never going to come back to the house at this rate. She had no idea what she was supposed to do with the building. She knew for a fact that after she was done with the marriage with Axel, she planned to return to the life she was building in the States, and the promise of her ex from the other day made her sure of her decision to return. She did not want to start worrying about what she was going to do with the mansion yet.She walked to the living room to see that all of them had their bags ready and packed. "Leaving already?" Vida asked as she strolled in. They had not discussed their departure date, but she knew that they did not have the kind of luxury that she had. They all had to get back to work and their busy schedules, so keeping them there was not going to work, but still she felt a bi

Vida could not seem to let the fact that Axel had woken up this morning and dressed to go out and then resurfaced later saying he could not go to work because they had just gotten married slide. Maybe this would be a great opportunity for her to prove that he was shady. He had to have left the house to go do something shady earlier, something that would put him at a disadvantage if everyone knew."Then why did you get dressed early this morning to leave the house?" She shot at him as she realised his clothes were more casual than what he had been wearing in the morning."Forced habits?" he asked, raising his eyebrow at her. "Maybe I could not just help it, and I had just gone ahead with what I usually do," he added when he saw from her face that she was not convinced at all."Oh, really?" she asked. Even though he had explained, she was sure that there was more to what they saw."Were you awake in the morning when I was leaving?" he asked, and he realised how foolishly she had blown h

Maria was thrilled with joy to hear that they had agreed with the honeymoon plans so she booked the tickets and the hotel for them at once so they could not change their mind."How did you get her to change her mind?" She pulled Axel away for a moment and whispered to him."I have no idea. I went in to tell her that we did not have to go if she did not want to, but then she began to insist that she must go since it was what her father wanted," Axel explained with a shrug."I guess she still feels guilty towards her father and thinks this is the way she can repay him," Maria replied. She did not know what other way she could use to tell this girl that her father would have loved her no matter what she had decided to do in the end. It was obvious that she was doing a lot she did not want to do because she felt like her father would have wanted her to do it, and she was doing it to redeem herself for being a bad daughter."I don't understand the guilt, but..." Axel trailed off. He did no

"Of course not," Vida said, shaking her head vehemently. She was concerned with how quickly Axel picked up on things. "I am not avoiding you; why on earth would I?""That is what I am saying; why would you?" he asked, leaning into the door frame casually."I just needed privacy, as I am not used to sharing a room with people yet," she lied. It was him she was trying to get away from. "I came in here to take a couple of calls, that's all," she added, trying to sound convincing to him.It was obvious he did not believe her, and he did not need to say anything for her to know this. They both stood for a while staring at each other intently before Axel finally took a deep breath."I did not want to sound like a nag," he began, and she nodded because it was quite ironic; he seemed to be everywhere trying to lecture her about everything she should be doing and she shouldn't be doing."But you..." she trailed off as she realised that she did not need to respond. "But go on," she gestures for

"We are going to stop at the food court first before we head up to begin shopping," Anna announced as they got into the mall. Vidaa agreed because she knew that she really did not have any other options now. Anna had successfully brought her, and the girl was a bit too friendly for her to hurt her feelings just because.Anna had a spread from corn dogs to burgers and fries and some chicken nuggets and pizza slices as well. Vida found it all too much, but she was glad that she ate because Anna was very active and moving from store to store. Anna was not stopping at anything as she kept on pulling out different dresses from the rack and throwing them on Vida. As long as it fit, then she was asking her to get it."There is no way we are going in there," Vida said, looking up at the store Anna had pulled her into. It was a lingerie store and as far as Vida knew, she did not need this with her honeymoon with Axel."Why not?" Anna asked, tugging at her hand."Because there is nothing betwee
