บททั้งหมดของ Mr. Reynolds, your wife is an imposter : บทที่ 41 - บทที่ 50

Elena's POV WARNING:Things are about to get a little spicy in the next few chapters. If you're not into that, feel free to skip ahead. Otherwise... enjoy ...I was cruel. This was wickedness. If it had gotten to the point that I admitted it, it only proves how true it was. Noah just confessed to being in love with me. He didn't even try to deny my words or, better yet, change the topic... No. He agreed to it. For a man as proud as him to agree to be in love with a lady... His feelings must have been really deep. He trusted me, blindly. I was taking advantage of that trust...but now I was sure why he did. I said maybe I put a love portion inside...he said I didn't need it. And I just stood there... Watching him drink what would make him forget me while he just confessed that he was in love with me. If I said I didn't feel anything, that the feeling of guilt was growing inside me, it would be a big lie... But I had no right to feel anything. So the lie was best. "Em... Wher

Elena's POV If a person was annoyed with you, or if the person heard your soliloquy which you made staring at them, tears dripping and all, especially if that soliloquy was an apology for everything you have done and would still do... The said person wouldn't still kiss you... Right? I blinked as soon as realization dawned on me, pushing Noah away from my lips. "Hey..." I groaned getting up from the bed. Sincerely, that was actually when I noticed that we weren't in my room. "What? Can't I kiss my lovely fiance good morning?" Noah answered with a smirk, his eyes glistening with joy. I didn't have to time fully take in the room's beauty because all I could think about was how long Noah had been awake. "Oh... So you've been awake all this time." I said, feigning an annoyed expression. Noah chuckled, lifting the duvet from the bed. "No. I woke up when I felt something wet on my cheeks." He got up now, still fully naked, by the way. I refused to let my eyes wander, keeping my gaze

Layla's POV It's been four days... Five days if I was to count Sunday. The week was running out. It was just a matter of time before I got back what belonged to me. It annoyed me to know that Elena was with my man, making him feel things that he wasn't supposed to feel, not from her. I wasn't a fool... Noah didn't propose to me; he purposed to be Elena. Elena had once told me Noah's preposition to her when they met. Three dates. They were to go on three dates and after that, he was going to judge whether he wanted her in his life or not. Even as much as it was arranged, there was no guarantee Noah would have picked me up if I had left immediately. So, a part of it hurts finding out that your best friend is more you than yourself. But it was going to be over soon. Elena was going to be gone. Yeah, Noah was going to forget her face, forget her- My name, forget the experience too... But one thing I knew for sure was that he was never going to forget the feeling. The way Elen

Elena's POV "Aish!" I groaned after Layla ended the call. That bitch was just... "Argh!" I was just on my own, crying my eyeballs out for the last time; today was Thursday, and the medicine I had been feeding Noah for the past four days was starting to take effect. I just wanted to give myself one more chance. To cry one more time for my sins, to regret my actions one last time. After today... I was going full on the plan. No matter whatever feeling I had started growing for Noah... I was going to forget it and solely focus on the mission. At least that was my plan. And it was going to be great; I was almost done with my sobs when Layla's call came through. Sincerely I was shocked. 'Why would she call me?' I had wandered, staring at the vibrating phone skeptically. But I eventually gave in and answered at the second ring only for her to give me news about Jack. "Why on earth was he looking for me?" I groaned sitting up on the bed. How could he be so engrossed in a stranger?

Elena's POV 'In the Reynolds family, we don't propose to our women, not with a ring. Once we are sure of the way we feel about them we agree to marriage. On the wedding day, that's when we give them the ring. There is a ring in the family that has been passed down to the Reynolds women from generation to generation. They are given the ring on the wedding day, and with that, they are identified as a member of the Reynolds family.'That was exactly what Noah said. Which meant that pestering him to give me the ring before the wedding was hopeless. Aish! I had to ponder on his words for two days now. Today was Saturday, yet I still couldn't understand what he meant by 'Identified as a member of the Reynolds family.'Lik,e come on! Who on earth practices such... It's such a mad tradition. "Oh, Lena, you've thought about this too much," I mumbled to myself, getting off the bed. I had kept to the promise I made myself. I was no longer allowing myself to think about what would have hap
