Edward's POV:This is fucking ridiculous!! There's no way this nobody is this powerful!! She held the entire room hostage. No one could move their body. I think only the prince could because he's her mate, and that witch and human girl because they aren't wolves. I was pissed that she had gotten the better of me in a storm that I wanted. I wanted to be angry with Lisa for not telling me the extent of that girl's power, but when I look back on it, I didn't give her a chance to say much of anything before I told her she had to sacrifice her son and/or mate. I wasn't any better when I returned to get a potion from Adona to give to Sierra. I was furious she contacted Sierra and told her what we had planned. I was careless, and in return, Lisa stayed silent. So when that girl mentioned that she cleared away the layered spell Ava casted on Brandon in one go, I knew we were potentially fucked!! I never thought to ask many questions, and that's on me. The only thing I could do, was watch the

Connor's POV:It was dinner time and I sat in the private dinning hall, used only by the alpha and his family. I cut into my steak and took a bite. The door opened, and my eyes drifted up to see who walked in. Roman took a seat at the far end and began to eat his meal. I smirked."Did I forget to teach you manners? Your mother would be disappointed."He slammed his fist on the table, shaking everything. I picked my glass of wine up before it spilled."Don't speak about my mother that way!!"I snorted."Why not? It's not like you knew her. You know of here, but she was my mate. I knew her before you were born. I am your father, which means I can speak about whomever I so choose. THAT includes your mother."I said, narrowing my eyes aqt my son. He gave me a cold stare back, before pushing out of the table, making a hasty exit. As soon as he left out, my beta walked right in after him. I continued on with my dinner. My beta stood without saying a word. His presence was beginning to annoy

Eve's POV: Since we entered the office of Councilmen Gavin and Nora, I've watched the woman named Heather. She was older than everyone in the room, though her hair maintained its half and half coloring of silver and white. She looked incredibly young for someone much older. Her age showed in the way she carried herself and the way she spoke. She spoke the truth without judgment, and made life black and white without losing its nuisance. Once we cleared the room of everyone, the six of us took seats to begin. "Now, I'd like to tell you why I needed to speak with you all alone. The Stonewalls are directly linked to Kwen in the sense of her lineage, considering she comes form a dual Chosen heritage. We all know how the council came to be and that Celene was the one that placed them as the head of Council, as long as they kept a virtuous heart and clear mind. What no one knows is Cimone helped placed them there as well." From the silence that weighted heavily in the room, I could tell

Kwen's POV: The lights of the car was used to light up the battlefield. Halo and I had had enough. 'I got it this time.' Halo said to me. I felt my eyes glow and my nails elongated into claws. Within a second, one of the men flew towards, hitting me, full force. I fell back, hitting a tree. I bounced off it, falling to the ground. The man made snide remarks, laughing. "What happened to all that mouth?!! I thought you wanted to leave? Did you give up on that little dream??!" I crawled to my knees as a dark laugh fell from my lips. The man stilled. "You hit like a bitch! If that's all you got, this fight is already over." I laughed, standing to my feet, feeling a little light headed. The man looked furious at me. "Aww... what? I hurt your feelings??" I laughed again. He grunted and charged at me. This time, I was ready. He came at me as I threw a singke blow. My eyes bore into the man's, as he did the same to me. He looked confused by what he was experiencing. A smile slowly cr

Mia's POV:I spent a lot of time trying not to be concerned about my babies. But the more time that goes by and I don't hear a word from them, the more concerned I became. I tried calling Angel and she didn't answer. I did the same with Kwen, and no response. I messaged both. No reply.Ok...I'm going up there.I made that decision a few days ago. It felt like the longer I waited, this bottomless pit that formed in my gut, became deeper and deeper. I just know my babies are in danger, and I'm gonna find out from what. I spent a few days out the week getting my affairs in order with Minnie's company, before taking a leave. My second in charge is on speed dail and knows to call for any reason. I didn't like it at first, but thank god Gelly wanted to wait a year before starting school this fall. I packed a bag and the next day, I was out. I put in the address Kwen gave me years ago for flights. I prayed to never have to use this because she warned me that it wasn't safe for humans to kno
