Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Scarred Luna: Alpha's Unforgivable Mistake: Kabanata 101 - Kabanata 110

SAELA Shock filled me when I heard the door burst open. That was just shocking by the way. Because I sure as hell wasn't ready for what I was about to feel next. I was mortified when I saw Torren standing by that doorway with a murderous glint in his eyes, blood shot eyes and folded fists that looked like they would land a punch at any time now. Shit! Shit! Shit! I always knew that Rave knowing where I lived was going to amount to no good but Asher loved him. And Torren was never around. I couldn't just deprive my son of the only thing he wanted when his so-called daddy wasn't even able to give him a face. Torren hadn't been here either had he called in like what, 2 weeks but the one time I decided to slip up, here he was like a ferocious animal ready to kill anyone that stood in his way. I have to think of how to get myself out of this rollercoaster fast. I needed to think fast and act fast. Rave scrambled off me immediately when an idea suddenly popped into mind. Now? It

ERYN “Alright. I gotta go pick up my friend from the airport. Closing time is almost here so just clock off for me later, and please do not let anyone know so I don't come in tomorrow and hear that I'm slacking off work.” I pleaded, both hands clasped together in a plea gesture but instead of Kael to answer, he picked up his keys. “I'll drive you.” He stated and I paused in my tracks. “Umm, what?” I called out subconsciously and he stared behind him as though he was trying to see if there was anyone else I was talking to. “What are you doing?” I asked and he turned to me. “No, I wanted to make sure you're talking to me. I'm going to the airport as well to pick someone up so I might as well, just drop you off.” I chuckled, shutting my system as I grabbed my phone, a couple of files and my bag. “Not only are you the Alpha's Beta, you're also a mini protector for your brother's girlfriend. You're packed up. Don't let me distract you. I'll get going.” I called out as I strode out of

KAELI had just dropped Eryn at the airport. She had no idea how relieved I was when she and her friend disappeared into the crowd. The way they hugged and giggled when they finally met up was a little ridiculous, it made me remember the good old days when Vale and I hadn't left Virova.I leaned back in the driver’s seat, let out a groan, and shut my eyes.Babysitting her was a full-time job I never signed up for. The only reason why I wasn't complaining of any of the sorts was because, she was my friend too.I couldn't stand and watch anything happen to her. And if I would add to that, Vale would have my head.My phone buzzed before I could even think of turning the car back on. Of course, the name glowing on the screen had to be him.Vale.“Wonderful,” I muttered, swiping to answer. “You really do have this psychic timing, don’t you? I swear, you hide just to figure out when to annoy me the most.” I groaned while he sighed.“Do you ever stop groaning? Anyways, you sound exhausted,”

ERYN.“So you're saying he doesn't even know that you're fully divorced now?” Thena asked as she munched on some pancakes I had made her, lying lazily on the couch.I was on the other couch, sipping on a glass of wine. It was a weekend after all, I didn't need to be at work.“It's exactly like that.” I nodded in agreement and she flipped her hair dramatically.“He's gonna crash out when he finds out. I hope I'm there when he does, I can't miss to see what his expression would look like.” Thena gushed and I chuckled, my eyes focused on the blank screen on my phone. For some reason, I didn't even know what I was expecting. Why hadn't he called me yet? At this point, I would take whatever explanation he gave, I just wanted to hear something.Perhaps I'm love brained or something else entirely but this whole thing was chewing me up.“Earth to Eryn….ERYN VALEK STORM.” Thena yelled and I jerked out of my thoughts immediately, turning to look at her as my heart skipped a few beats.“Where ha

ERYN“Oh, I bet you're here to talk trash about my friend and support your stupid baby mama who has a pea sized brain. You both look like a perfect match.” Thena yelled, banging on the railings in the holding cell as soon as Torren walked in.Of course, she knew him. She had literally blasphemed his picture for hours, as she scrolled through her phone, watching his photos come up a lot of times on the media.“Ughh, who is this?” He mouthed.I bet it was Saela who had called him here to take her side and since he was the Alpha Governor, this would go really bad for us.Slowly, Torren's face contorted from confusion to realization. He knows who Thena is for sure.“Miss Thena? What are you doing here?” He asked and she just rolled her eyes in disgust, while Torren's face was literally everywhere. The first time he saw her face was from the video call I had set up with the unsoughtable hacker he wanted not knowing it was her.He has a good memory but I'm not sure he knows that I and Thena
