LAURA'S POV. His hand falters at my throat. "Wh...what!?" Another tear slips but not from my eyes. They slip through his beard, down his throat and to his chest. Very soon he's trembling in front of me, sobbing profusely. The sight itself is pitiful, but he drove himself to this. If he'd just listened to me and stopped listening to his godforsaken doctor. I close my eyes, sighing. "How could you do this to me, Laura?" Liam's voice makes my eyes snap open again. Thankfully, the knife has clattered from his hands. My lips are trembling but words seem unable to form from them. "I gave you every fucking thing. I took care of this child better than I've taken care of anything in this world. It's the most stupid request he's made asking for two wanted people to have a meeting in a public place, but I'm properly disguised and I've asked him to do the same. LAURA'S POV She gets to live as a princess while I fucking have to sneak around and hide under disguises. I slip my dark glasses back onto my face, turning around to rendezvous with Montero. It's been a long month of spying and plotting and after all this while, I can finally get to exert revenge on my sister. She was laughing gleefully with a girl I've come to know as Eden.
