Rohan “Wake up,” I said, tapping the vampire on the cheek. His body was sprawled on the floor with a knee on his abdomen and a silver dagger close to his throat. The vampire woke up and when his eyes saw the dagger, he chuckled. “Oh. So it wasn’t a dream,” he said in disgust. “What are you going to do, cut me into pieces?” I chuckled. My shoulder stung badly and I could feel a warm liquid oozing down my shoulder. It was my blood. The bandages had been soaked with blood and it seemed the stitches had been undone as I tried to take Luciana’s mate out. “No. I’m going to let you go,” I said.
