Anna's POV The soldier that I took the sword from kept trying to stop me right away. "Wait, my Lady!" he shouted while grabbing my arm. His face went pale and his body trembled. "You can’t just rush in! Those things, those monsters, they’ll tear you apart!" I didn’t even look at him. My eyes were settled on the battlefield ahead where dozens of those tall, twisted creatures kept moving around like living shadows. The soldier pulled me again desperately. "Please! You don’t understand! Those are not normal beasts, they have killed half of our unit already!" His words came out broken as he was almost pleading. Without showing any fear, I moved forward. "Then they should have killed the other half too," I muttered coldly. "What?" Before he could react, I turned slightly and struck him in the chest with a precise kick.
