Delilah's POVI feel so hot right now. It wasn't until Vivian pointed it out that I noticed my burning shoes and clothes. The spot where I'm standing on her wooden floor starts to get dark, and smoke arises from it. I quickly move out of there. "Look at the ceiling," Cecile says, and we look up to see that part of the ceiling has started to burn. Vivian brings her gaze down from the ceiling, settling it on me. Delilah's POVI wake up to the soft breathing of General Kane on my neck. His arms are draped around my body and it's a bit hot being entangled with him. Delilah's POVVivian pushes open the door with a squeal, and we all peer into the house. The place is shrouded in darkness, and we can barely see anything. "Let's go inside," she says and moves in.We follow her sceptically as she leads us to the oracle. First, we pass through a dark, old-fashioned kitchen, then proceed to a small passage with a staircase in front.She leads us confidently up the stairs to a hallway with rooms connecting it.
