Kane's POVPanic strikes my heart when I find Delilah gone. She promised me that she was going to stay in the room. Where exactly am I going to find her now?I rush out to check the second room Cecile had been in, only to find Cecile and her younger cousin alone."Have you guys seen Delilah?" I ask them. They both shake their head.Closing the door, I leave the place and rush to search for her outside. It's total chaos everywhere. The growling of wolves fills the air as sentinels fight against the rogues.Running through the commotion, I search for Delilah. A loud crash catches my attention and I look up to find her standing at the edge of a roof. Her eyes are bloodshot as she looks over the fighting happening down below.A sudden fear seizes my heart at the thought of her falling from that height. She elevates into the air and begins to float above the fighting crowd. Raising her hands, she lifts two rogues off the floor into the air with her telepathic powers and snaps their necks.

Kane's POVThe messengers have already spent a lot of time in Blood Moon. Based on the orders from the Ultima, the Sentinels join them to search the houses and surrounding woods for any sign of Delilah. Right now, we're all supposed to be at the beck and call of these 'messengers' the Ultima has sent. But I refuse to stoop so low. Delilah's POVI stepped into the light and it has brought me into a dark hollow abyss. All around me is a black nothingness that reaches into my soul. Is this death?
