Kane's POVPanic strikes my heart when I find Delilah gone. She promised me that she was going to stay in the room. Where exactly am I going to find her now?I rush out to check the second room Cecile had been in, only to find Cecile and her younger cousin alone."Have you guys seen Delilah?" I ask them. They both shake their head.Closing the door, I leave the place and rush to search for her outside. It's total chaos everywhere. The growling of wolves fills the air as sentinels fight against the rogues.Running through the commotion, I search for Delilah. A loud crash catches my attention and I look up to find her standing at the edge of a roof. Her eyes are bloodshot as she looks over the fighting happening down below.A sudden fear seizes my heart at the thought of her falling from that height. She elevates into the air and begins to float above the fighting crowd. Raising her hands, she lifts two rogues off the floor into the air with her telepathic powers and snaps their necks.

Kane's POVThe messengers have already spent a lot of time in Blood Moon. Based on the orders from the Ultima, the Sentinels join them to search the houses and surrounding woods for any sign of Delilah. Right now, we're all supposed to be at the beck and call of these 'messengers' the Ultima has sent. But I refuse to stoop so low. I'm their commanding General and will continue to act from that place of authority. Ever since I returned from the Cedar Wood pack, I've been waiting for them in my office. Delilah's POVI stepped into the light and it has brought me into a dark hollow abyss. All around me is a black nothingness that reaches into my soul. Is this death? The laughter of a child meets my ears and I turn around. Suddenly I see myself back in the Silver Crest pack, cradled in my mother's arms. She sings a soft lullaby for me while we both sit under the moonlight. The night breeze plays through her golden hair. I reach up and have a feel of it on my fingers. Looking down at me, she smiles warmly and cuddles me even closer. It's all a good memory until all of a sudden she starts coughing.
