Damien POVI watched as Sophia tried to prove to me that Bethany was a good person and just rolled my eyes. “Fine, fine. You believe that she's the perfect person for you. That is good then. I don't want you to assume that I am trying to push everybody against you. You can be friends. Just be cautious.” I said to her as she smiled and then hugged me again. I didn't know what had gotten into her; she was suddenly hugging me and being so nice. If she knew what I had in my own thoughts, she wouldn't even come close to me, but instead give me a big distance. Because right now, I no longer saw her as a business partner or as someone I wanted to assist in her plans. I saw her as somebody more than that now. I suddenly wanted to be there for her.
