CHAPTER 11 Too Revealing

The conversation among the three stopped at the voice they heard. "Dad! I'm home!" Ronan immediately stood up at the familiar voice. Joy flashed across his face. It was just as he thought—his only child couldn't stay away for long. Hindi Siya matitiis ni Elle. "I'm glad you came home." at niyakap ni Ronan ng mahigpit Ang anak. Elle cast a dirty look at Celeste, signaling that she wouldn't back down from the fight she started. Meanwhile, something else was on Celeste's mind. It seems the wind has swept her thoughts away because of Elle's appearance in that outfit. "Ronan, you're allowing your daughter these kinds of clothes? Isn't it too revealing?" Ronan and Elle were separated from each other’s embrace. Both of their foreheads furrowed. Even sometimes, Ronan never found Elle’s fashion style questionable. He’s not strict about what his child wants, as long as she is happy with herself and doesn't step on anyone else's toes. So why would he bother about how El

CHAPTER 12 What Matters

In the following days, Elle tried to act as if it was just the two of them, her and Ronan, alone in the house like before. She made Celeste seem invincible in her eyes. That annoyed Celeste so much. "Hey!" When she saw Elle about to leave the house. Elle didn't bother to pay attention. "I'm talking to you!" Celeste grabbed her hand with a force that made Elle abruptly stop. From her hand that's Celeste holding, she turns a hatred-filled look into her eyes. "What do you think you're doing?" There's a threat in her voice. "Didn't Ronan teach you some manners?" Celeste asked back. Elle smirk. "Manner? You mean paying respect to elders? It depends on who deserves it." Celeste swallowed her emotions, trying to hold back the feelings that were intensifying because of Elle's attitude towards her. Elle forcefully pulled her hand away from Celeste. Celeste took a deep breath before speaking again. "I didn't know Ronan was your father." That was the first thing that c

Chapter 13 Being Her Professor

Elle fully immersed herself in studying, using it as a distraction to avoid thinking about her home situation, where she lived with the person she hated most. She is only a few years away from graduating in her chosen course. Currently, she sits in her class, waiting for her professor for her last subject of the day. "I heard Mrs. Torres is on leave because her pregnancy is complicated." Elle lowered her book upon hearing this from a classmate. "There’s a new substitute teacher. Maybe today’s the day," added another girl sitting next to the first who spoke. "I also heard our new professor replacing Mrs. Torres is really attractive," said the leader of the varsity basketball team. Elle sighed, knowing this guy wasn’t anything special. He's infamous as a womanizer across the university. Elle never allowed herself to be interested in him, and like other guys who tried to approach her, he was rejected. Meanwhile, Allyna was walking down the hall towards the room her sup

Chapter 14 Irritation? Or Jealousy?

She no longer seems to enjoy it. Allyna was about to stop the nonsense when Elle began her seductive acts toward Trevor, running her fingertips over his body as she moved closer.Allyna's temple furrowed, and her eyebrows knit at the sight of the new side of Elle she was gawking at. It caused her to clench her fists. She really couldn't take it anymore.Meanwhile, Lust awakened again in Trevor's system. He had been fantasizing about Elle for a long time, claiming her in his dreams."You wanna play, so we play," Elle says to Trevor with a flirty voice and gaze. It brought a jolt of electricity through his body.It seems like everyone is heating up in the live broadcast they are watching. When Elle was sure that Trevor had fallen into her dark trap, she finally acted on her true desire.Elle gathered her momentum and put all her strength into her leg until her knee struck the part Trevor valued most."Ahhhh!!!!!! WHAT THE F!!" A loud scream followed by a grasp on his manhood.Trevor cou

Chapter 15 Hovering Emotions

"I'm your last subject, right? Why don't we go home together? Besides, we're living in the same house," Allyna suggested, causing Elle to stop in her tracks. "That's not a good idea," Elle replied, turning away again. What does this woman want? She acts as if nothing had happened before, which irritates her. Allyna stopped Elle by grabbing her arm. Elle looked very upset, her anger rising like boiling lava ready to erupt. Elle took a deep breath before facing her stepmother again. "What the hell do you want from me? Stop doing this!" "Doing what exactly? I'm just asking you to go home with me. Save your time and energy. What's the big deal?" Elle's breathing grew heavier. Allyna understands why Elle is hostile but can't help herself; Elle seems to draw her in like a magnet. "Stay away from me before I forget you’re Dad's wife!" Allyna rolled her eyes. "That makes me your mom, too. Stupid brat." "Stupid brat?!" Elle was stunned. "I'm not a brat!" She stomped her foot

CHAPTER 16 Control Freak

Dinner is almost approaching, so Allyna won't be able to make it on time if she prefers to cook. She considered ordering food online. She happily looked at what she would prepare for her and Elle. Good timing, Elle's arrival. Everything is ready in the dining area. "You arrived at the right time. Dinner is ready, Mcki. Come with me to the dining." Elle just stared at Allyna. Her mind raced over what had gotten into this woman, and she invited her to eat together. "Cut the act. You don't have to do this when Dad is not around. Let's be true to ourselves. And stop calling me Mcki." Elle was about to turn her back when Allyna brought her to a halt. "Stop being stubborn for once. If you want this to work, you should cooperate at least." Elle can't believe what she's hearing right now. How could this woman act like nothing really happened in the past? "I can't. I'm sorry, but I can't. I can't even stand to see you, let alone eat with you. I may vomit." Elle's words pi

CHAPTER 17 Staying Close

The day went on as Allyna tried to stay close to Elle. Elle always ends up doing nothing, and everything happens according to her stepmother's wishes. It made her feel suffocated. "I told you we should go to the university together. Ronan's instructions were very clear about that. If you disagree, then talk to your father." The truth is, Ronan never really gave that order. He doesn't have time for things like that because his business keeps expanding. Ronan doesn't even know what's happening between the two of them or at the house. He no longer has time to see Osmund in person, either. They only talk about work. Ronan had nothing to do with it. It's always Allyna's plan. Once, Allyna deliberately tried to puncture Elle's car tire so she would have to go with her, but unfortunately, her best friend picked her up instead. Today, Allyna is making sure Elle can't find any way past her. Every day, Elle goes with her to and from school. She doesn't want Oli around all the time,

Chapter 18 The Inevitable Feelings

"Let's have lunch together," Allyna said when she met Elle in the hallway. Elle ignored her and kept walking, but as always, Allyna wouldn't let it go easily and kept trying. In any way she could, she insisted that Elle join her for a meal. "That would never happen again. Just stop, Celeste. Whatever you're doing." She doesn't want people's perception of her and Allyna to deepen or go the wrong way. Elle once agreed to Celeste's invitation to eat together, only because Celeste always used her dad as an excuse. Like Ronan wanted them to get along. Like it's for her Dad's happiness, etc., etc. She's sick of it, so she just goes along with it, agreeing just to end the discussion and get it over with. But Elle forgot what people around them might think. And now, that's what's happening. Some people think they are in a relationship, but the truth is, she is the wife of her father and her stepmother, not the other way around. "We're just going to eat. What's the big deal? Besi

CHAPTER 19 Queen Valeri Samson Blossom

A few days passed without Allyna bothering Elle. She also no longer accompanied her to university or went home with her. Elle was free to eat alone and was no longer forced to be with Allyna. At first, Elle felt comforted by Allyna's listening and by finally having her privacy respected, but soon it became irritating. In frustration, Elle abruptly put down the book she was reading, catching the librarian's attention and prompting her to reprimand her. "What's the matter?" Oli's focus shifted to her. "Nothing. Just a bit bored." Kailan pa Siya nakaramdam ng boredom pagdating sa pag aaral kaya sumilay Ang pagtataka Kay Oli. "You know that you can always tell me everything, Mcki."
