Chapter 61 - Rescue

Cole POV I heard Jessica scream, and I knew we were still too far away to stop whatever was happening. Gunner put on top speed, with Carson keeping pace. “Do not do anything crazy,” Carson cautioned. “The only thing I will be doing is saving my mate from whatever hell she is being forced to endure,” I responded angrily. “Let’s get into position so we know what we are dealing with first,” Carson said. “I cannot wait for the others to catch up,” I bit out, knowing Gunner was doing the best he could. Cole POV It bothered me that Jessica thought she had to thank us for coming for her. It worried me that she did not understand how valuable she was too me. I realized I had my work cut out for me. Jessica POV As we entered the dungeons, I could not contain my disgust. The smell took my breath away. I was so distracted by the scent, I did not realize we were already standing before the Rogue King’s cell. He was sitting in the center of the cell, cuffed to a steel chair at his ankles and wrists.
