Elvira’s POV I opened my eyes to an empty bed. My eyes searched the room for Calix’s figure but he wasn’t in the room. “Calix!! Calix!!” I called yet there wasn’t any response. I was about to stand up from the bed when I saw a plate on the nightstand. I opened the plate to see breakfast. Oh Calix. My husband. He should have woken me up and I wanted to make him breakfast in bed but he beat me to it. The food smells so good but I needed to check on my daughter first. I covered the plate.
