EVELINEThe Timber and Tonic bar was a lively pocket of nightlife. It sat on the edge of the forest road, where trees met the city lights. A large neon sign stood atop it, with its name written in cursive, stylized with wolf fangs. And as Eveline killed the engine of the borrowed scooter, she realized the patrons were mostly, if not all, werewolves. Some wore tight jeans and leather, laughing and shoving each other playfully. Others wore little clothing, their eyes glowing in the dark and their fangs flashing when they grinned. Their scents all mingled with the fresh forest, and she almost wished she could shift. It seemed this was the only place to party around here, and the perfect place for her to seek her release.She tugged on her jacket subconsciously , before walking into the bar. She had it all planned out: go in, grab one drink, dance a little. And that was it. At the entrance, there was a little line. A burly bouncer with a scar across his jaw was asking for ID ahead. Sh
