ZANE’S POV. She was there, right in front of me, and damn it, I had never felt more uncomfortable than I did at that moment. Alessia was sleeping peacefully in the passenger seat, her hair falling over part of her face and her lips slightly parted. I looked away almost immediately, annoyed with myself for noticing things I had no business noticing. Adrian should have known better than to ask me to take Alessia and Kendra back to their dorm.
