Semua Bab You Have Your Throne, I’ll Get Mine: Bab 1 - Bab 10

I pushed open the heavy glass doors of the Silvermoon Ridge headquarters, blocking out the sight of Rowan’s careless face.My phone buzzed in my palm. A video call from my childhood friend, Jax.The second I answered, his sharp eyes locked onto my wrist.“Where’s the bracelet? Caleb, did you take off your bond bracelet?” His face changed instantly. He shot upright. “You’re ending twenty years together because she forgot to bring you a rock?”I stood on the marble steps, looking up at the gray sky. I didn't look away from his glare.“It’s not about one rock, Jax.” My voice was quiet. Empty. “It’s about the seventeenth time.”“What seventeenth time?” Jax was lost.“Rowan’s been Alpha Female for exactly three months,” I said, walking slowly down the steps. “In those three months, this is the seventeenth time she’s broken a promise to me.”Jax opened his mouth, trying to find an excuse for her. “She just took over a new territory, she’s got too much on her plate, maybe she just can’t keep

It was 2 AM. The living room was dead silent.I was on the sofa, my eyelids heavy with exhaustion. I let them close.Dreams washed over me like a tide.I was seven, on the back hill. A rogue wolf lunged for me. Rowan threw herself in front of me, her small shoulders trembling, but she wouldn’t move.I was eighteen, at the graduation ball. Her cheeks were flushed as she held my hand and swore, “Caleb, you’ll always be my number one.”I was twenty-seven, on the night of her ascension. I forced down my own boiling Alpha blood. I endured the soul-tearing feral agony, just to watch her be crowned under the moonlight. The vibration of my phone jolted me awake. The screen’s bright white light cut through the dark.A message from Rowan.[Banquet ran late. Finn had a bit to drink, he’s not feeling well. I’m taking him home. Not coming back tonight.]The few short lines were like a dull, rusty knife, slowly sawing through my last shred of hope.I stared at the text box.Right above her message w

The moment the plane broke through the clouds, the cabin shook. A jolt of turbulence as we crossed the pack border.I didn’t grab the armrest like I used to.I opened my bag. Pulled out my tablet. Opened the note I kept locked behind three passwords. The last page was a list. Dates and descriptions. Every single time Rowan had broken her promise to me in the last three months.1. March 2nd. Forgot to pick me up from work.2. March 9th. Forgot our dinner date....17. Last night. Forgot our Bonding Anniversary.I used to think keeping a list like this was pathetic. Love isn’t a business. You don’t keep a ledger.I was wrong. If I didn’t write it down, her easy “I forgot” would smooth everything over. My hurt would be dismissed. My sacrifices, ignored.Staring at the cold, hard facts on the screen was the only thing stopping me from caving. It was the only thing that forced me to see the truth.I closed the tablet.“Enough,” I whispered. As the plane pulled away from Silvermoon Ridge, a

Caleb's POVI didn't go after her.Rowan's figure disappearing into the blizzard was like the end of an old, faded movie.I went back inside and locked the door.I opened my laptop and went back to work. The phantom ache from the broken Mate Bond was still there, a ghost in my nerves. But true healing isn't about the pain stopping. It's about feeling the pain and still making the right choice. The next day, I moved into a high-level isolation sector, deeper in the core territory.Security was tight. No one got in without being a core member.I cut off every possible way for Rowan to find me.For the next week, I threw myself into integrating the territories. The Northern Silver Mine and High-Grade Crystal Sector merger. It was the first strategy I spearheaded. At the head of the conference table, I spread out the map. "Their defenses look strong," I said, my voice low. "But they have three fatal flaws. We cut off their supply lines here, here, and here. The balance of power at the nego

Caleb's POVAfter Rowan went back to Silvermoon Ridge, she was a different person.Jax told me later that she’d had three major lapses in judgment during core pack meetings. The Alpha Female's mental instability, a direct result of the broken bond, almost tanked a major mining deal. The core warriors started talking. Whispering that their Alpha wasn't right.Someone would glance at her wrist, where the bond bracelet used to be. It was empty now.During a meal, she ordered a plate of roasted venison, but when it came, she just stared at it, not taking a single bite.If someone even mentioned the name "Blackpeak," her face would go pale and she'd make an excuse to leave the room.Jax said that after Finn was exiled, he became desperate. He cornered her outside her office and demanded to know why she was blaming him."I didn't force you to forget his anniversary! Why am I taking all the heat for this?" Finn had shouted, his voice full of resentment.Rowan was silent for a long time. Final
