A Slut As A Wife

The cool evening breeze caressed gently the trees that boarded the North path leading to the park

Added to make that saturday evening an applying one was the sweet twitter of the birds

Not only were the trees neither the birds know Dr Ryan as he sauntered down the part to the park enjoying the cool evening weather 

Dr Ryan who had not had such opportunity of having such intimacy with girls while he was in the village park envied some of the boys as they strolled past with the girls

He observed the girls secretly,he no doubt liked some of them because they were fine looking and naive 

But he was put off by the fact that such girls that had the guts to stroll around with boys with such reckless abandon in the village must have been way ward

Instead of coming all the way from London to marry such girls he would rather have married any of the classy girls littering the streets of London

His parents have sampled responsible girls for him,he however had rejected them because he haven't meet with his stranded

He had chosen one girl he had seen in the village church the last time he came home from his judgment she looked pretty,down to earth,innocent and responsible

"Did you see her? His would-be-mother in-law asked him as he entered the small compound 

"I did not see her" He was looking at the slim,petite looking woman whose name was "Beauty"

He guess she might be in her late forties 

"Where must she has gone to? Beauty asked looking bewildered

Just then the shaky gate opened.A beautiful girl probably 20 amblemed into the compound 

Dr Ryan's heart could not help skipping a beat at the sight of the girl who looked prettier and more naive than Ella his proposed wife

"Where has your sister gone to? Beauty asked the light complexion girl as she approached them,she was just a carbon copy of her mother "Beauty"

"She went to see Fiona her friend" The girl answered,

Turning to Dr Ryan "Good evening sir"

"How are you ? He asked admiring her loviness and humble looks

"Fiona ! But she told me she was going to the park" Her mother "beauty" replied

"She changed her mind" The lady replied walking inside the house

Dr Ryan couldn't help but stare

"Is she you're daughter also? Dr Ryan couldn't help but ask

"Yes Ella is older than her" There was a trace of pride in her voice

"What's her name? Dr Ryan asked nervously 

"Sonia"

"She's beautiful and look more innocent"He could not help confessing 

"Can I see her? He suddenly asked

"Who do you mean? 

"She of course" He replied 

"Yes you can,She's miles better than Ells in every imaginable way,she's more homely responsible and a virgin for that better"

"A virgin? Dr Ryan re-echoed in surprise while Beauty nodded smiley 

That was what he wanted.An innocent beautiful girl he could trust and be proud of in the midst of his friends in London

That was his primary reason for coming home to marry

Thank God for giving him a virgin,his utmost heart desire in a woman and for giving him a good mother in-law

But little did he know

"Are you surprised? I knew you would change your mind whenever you set your eyes on her"

"Please call her for me!

With excitement Beauty called on her most beloved daughter whom it had been her heart wishes to marry Dr Ryan who was not only a medical doctor but was also abroad based.

It had as well been her heart for sonia to marry before Ella because she hardly get along with the latter

The reasons behind it was unlike Ella who took after her after was not only very quiet,Reserved, Naive but also hated with passion her mother and hunger sisters giddy lifestyle

So what Dr Ryan does not know was that no withstanding Sonia's innocent looks,along with her mother's false claims of her being a virgin, Sonia knew alot about the world more than girls of her age.

"Mum you called me''Sonia said walking to them.

"He wants to talk to you"Beauty said.

Without Dr Ryan knowing she used her eyes to give her daughter signal that something was about to happen.

Having been in the game for long sonia decoded the signal and began to act accordingly.

"Welcome sir"She greeted in an inviting voice

"Let me go and check on what I have on fire"The older lied in order to give them chance to talk.

"Okay ma" Dr Ryan returned understandably.

On the traditional wedding day,Sonia was busy preparing herself while Ella watched on with surprise

"Who is the man behind this? Ella asked her younger sister again

They were sitting on the only bed in the room.

"You don't want to tell me?.

"You will soon know! Sonia replied,actually annoyed by her elder sister nonstop probing questions.

"Why not wait to see who it was? She retorted in a dismissal voice walking out of the room to avoid her elder sister from repeating question again.

Feeling defeated ,Ella went out to assist in the preparation in whatever way she could.

She had likewise asked her mother many times who the man that coming to marry her youngest sister was and she had also refuse to tell her.

After all what has she got to lose? She has asked herself at last.

She decided to just be an onlooker in her immediate sister's marriage affair.

She on the other hand prided whosever was the man that was coming to marry her sister in such an hasty manner.

She wished that Dr Ryan has hastened up his marriage plans on her too.

Soon the compound of Mr Stephanie became filled with people as they waited for the in-laws.

Around 3pm ,Dr Ryan in his BMW car arrived in a convoy of other expensive vehicles.

They pulled out outside the compound.

Ella was arranging Sonia's hair before a standing mirror.

Sonia was putting on her bangles in high spirit.

"How am I looking? She had asked.

"You look beautiful" Ella replied as Sonia nodded.

"Thanks".

The occasion went successfully not until Sonia was escorted out by Ella along with some of Sonia's friends in the name of bridal train that Ella noted with sinking feeling that it was Dr Ryan her younger sister was getting married to.

Her supposed husband!!.

Her heart sank.

She felt her world began to scramble.

She was dazed for minutes but she managed to control herself in front of the public with ultmost difficulty.

She consoled herself with the saying that what was meant for someone is meant for him or her.

She wanted the occasion to end already.

She wanted to be somewhere away from that compound.

Somewhere alone she could give vent to her bitter feelings.

She knew it was her mother's doing.

If her father had knew about this he won't have let the marriage hold.

She felt so broken..

She hated her mother for this!

But what can she do? She already loose him
