For the purposes of this taxonomy, the alpha knot is a major trope differentiator between Omegaverse fiction and other subgenres of romance. Those are the 'fandom staple' versions. Because big, long-running fandoms have so many established characters, it becomes pretty clear how their relationships work. The traits that define a relationship (such as Alpha dominated) get to be very source material specific. In a superhero fandom, the enhanced physical characteristics of an Alpha will likely be linked to their powers. In a magic-based fandom, the relationship dynamics will likely be tied to the characters' magical affinity. These are all unique subtypes of relationship dynamics that are best practiced within the specific fandom in which they were created. They are often a combination of the canon relationship and the fandom created relationship. There is a lot of unique and individual storytelling that occurs within every active fandom, and when all are compiled together as various types of relationships, it’s quite impressive.

And presumably there’s an Omegaverse BL version too, since that was basically where this all started. So, F/F versions of this scenario are just GL (Girls Love). They use the same mechanics, just with characters of different genders. I don’t know why people feel the need to explain this over and over again. It’s a single, fairly popular fanfiction trope. People either like it or they don’t. The end.

I specifically looked into the origin of this rumor, and after chasing down every lead, I found it was completely unfounded—just a lie made up off the cuff by an ordinary TikToker, with not a single shred of solid evidence to prove this ever actually happened.

Within omegaverse types, you have the standard alpha, beta, and omega, but there are many more nuances to the others. Some works are even more focused on the pack dynamics between characters of different status within the group. These dynamics can create really interesting stories, even when they aren’t strictly part of the omegaverse, such as in ‘My Hero Academia’. The dynamic between characters and how they relate to one another within a hierarchy is really interesting and is often portrayed well within the Omegaverse. It is great to see how the relationships of characters can evolve and how they get to define themselves within a group of people. Many stories that are set in an omegaverse are full of tension and revelations and they can be very interesting to read. The aspect of mpreg can be especially interesting, because it can lead to new situations and conflicts in the story. The omegaverse is a very interesting way to portray character interactions and to explore themes such as love, power and identity.

As an author of webcomics, it is best to consider the platforms as merely one of many streams of income that an author could be using to sustain themselves. The biggest portion of income for most webcomic authors comes from their direct fanbase that they have built on social media. The author can earn symbolic amounts of money from their comics that aren’t getting much attention, but other than that, they wouldn’t even come close to making a living wage.

Now, to write, you need to collaborate with a bard for the melody, an illustrator for the visuals, and a scribe for copies of your work.
