First update your Audible app and your device. Sometimes logging out and back in to your Audible account can trigger a fresh sync of your library. See the Audible support page for the ‘Refresh Library’ button to attempt to re-download any missing titles. It’s also very easy reading on some of the web novel platforms. Yes, I am a user who has had many problems with books not syncing on my device. The fixes for these problems are listed below. First check to see if you have the most up to date version of the app. Many problems occur with older versions of the app. Then, turn on and off your WiFi and switch to a different connection. If your connection is fine, then try shutting down your app and clearing the app’s cache. I had this problem last month and it was really annoying. It seemed that the Audible app was listing books that I had already downloaded as unavailable and the library was not syncing correctly. After some trial and error, I found that logging out of the app and reinstalling it fixed most of the problems. I would also suggest checking to see if you have enough storage on your device as this can also cause problems with syncing. Make sure you have the latest version of the app as well - Audible are constantly releasing patches for the app and if your version is outdated it can cause problems. I also found that switching from WiFi to mobile data (or back again) sometimes fixes the problem with network settings getting stuck in a weird state. If none of these fix the problem, you can always contact Audible's customer support. They did a great job of walking me through a cache reset which was my last hope but seemed to fix the problem.

I changed my Amazon password recently. If you did the same thing, you might find yourself logged out of the Audible app on your device without any warning. The Audible app doesn’t seem to alert you when this happens, so you may find that you’re no longer able to see your titles in your library, or you may get an error message. The fix for this is to go to Settings > Account in the Audible app and manually Sign Out. Then sign back in with your new Amazon password. If you have two-factor authentication enabled on your Amazon account, make sure you’re approving the login attempt from the app as well. A recent change to Amazon passwords has caused a number of users to experience what feels like a sync issue with their Audible library and find it to be ‘empty’ when they open up the app.

The cloud is your friend. All of your purchased titles are stored in the ‘Cloud’ tab, not just what you have downloaded. In order to view the same list of titles on your devices, you need to make sure you are viewing the correct filter. This will show you a list of all of the titles that you own, regardless of whether they are on the device that you are currently using. The trickier problem to manage than syncing position, is managing the download of the audio files for the chapters.
