I just wish that people would push for better, more global licensing options, and in the meantime just make the best choices that we can as fans.

Crunchyroll used to have ‘Domestic Girlfriend’ on their platform. It’s a very interesting watch and to this day the fanbase is split between Rui and Hina fans. Unfortunately, legal streams can get pulled from services at a moment’s notice. If that’s the case with ‘Domestic Girlfriend’, then purchasing a Blu-ray or even streaming/digital copy would be a good alternative – it’s very worth it for the drama alone, just be prepared for the ending though.

I’m not aware of any legal way to stream Persepolis right now. The film is banned in a few countries and while it hasn’t been banned in others, the distributors seem to be unwilling to release it. I haven’t been able to find it on any of the subscription streaming services even though it was released on DVD by the Criterion Collection as part of their706 series of films. It’s available for rent or purchase on Google Play, YouTube Movies as well as Vudu but it is unlisted so you won’t find it in searches. The film currently exists in a somewhat illegitimate state and it’s mainly available on torrent sites with very poor video quality.
