You can search for “Fire Stick rollback” on the XDA-Developers forum to find the threads for your specific model. Be warned, these projects require a download of specific firmware, connection of your Fire TV to your PC via a USB cable, and insertion of your stick into bootloader mode. Mixed results, and you could end up with a very expensive paperweight, so try at your own risk. Only really try and roll back a stick if it is currently spare or has already been bricked for you.

You’re a student writing a thesis about the evolution of the vampire romance in online fiction. An early and influential work on Wattpad has been deleted from the site and you can only access it through the Wayback Machine. To build your paper you take every chapter that has been archived and note the date it was captured. You compare that to the chapter’s associated metadata (if any) and to the comments and reviews left by readers. You acknowledge that your data set is incomplete and potentially corrupted, but the process highlights the fragility of our digital literary culture. Online writing is published on sites that can delete the work of their authors with the click of a mouse. But that writing can also be archived for the good of future scholars and historians. This methodology may not be perfect but it is important to preserve our online writing.

In the end, security comes down to trust. Does Apple’s iOS security model make sense? Do the major developers and publishers who put their apps in the App Store sell malware? For most people, the answer is no. But then again, for most people it’s also unrealistic to believe that there’s some sort of ubiquitous activity happening on their iPhone that they can worry about all the time. And so, they have to trust the system. They have to extend trust to the various systems they interact with on a daily basis. In my case, downloading an ebook to my iPhone earns Apple’s trust – after years of secure, incident-free reading of countless ebooks to millions of users. That’s a pretty solid track record.

while logging in gives you the full experience, there are ways to read some stories without an account. On mobile, you can access Wattpad through a browser instead of the app. Open your browser, go to the Wattpad website, and browse the free stories available. Some stories are fully accessible without logging in, especially those marked as 'Free' or 'Featured'. You won't be able to save your progress or leave comments, but it works for casual reading. Another trick is to use guest mode if your browser supports it, though this might limit your access to certain features.
Keep in mind that Wattpad’s algorithm tends to show more locked content to non-users, so you might have to dig a bit to find fully accessible stories. Also, some authors choose to make their entire stories available without requiring login, so searching for keywords like 'free read' or 'no login needed' can help. If you’re really into a story and hit a paywall, consider creating an account—it’s free and unlocks a lot more content.

This has become my normal way of listening to audiobooks. A practical tip: audiobooks can be streamed instead of downloaded. This becomes an option when you press the headphone icon on the audiobook screen, provided you have a good data connection or Wi-Fi connection.
This is perfect for big books like the 30 hour plus epics. They can be a pain to store on your phone and so this way you don’t have to have them downloaded all the time. The streaming quality isn’t as good as downloading in the first place but in most cases of listening – in cars, on public transport, on workout etc – you won’t notice the difference.

I have a simple offline reader for Wattpad called ‘Wattpad Offline Reader’ which works fine for me for downloading chapters and it’s been a lifesaver on my camping trip this week with patchy signal. The cache on this one is also pretty useful as it means I can continue to read halfway downloaded chapters. Simple and not a lot of frill but a nice little feature is being able to see a list of the chapters you’ve downloaded – feels like I’ve got a bookshelf in my pocket!

For a more visual explanation of the steps I’ve outlined, you can imagine us describing a screen. At the top of the screen you’ll see the cover and title of a story. Below that, perhaps overlayed on top of the cover, you’ll see a set of action buttons, such as ‘Follow this story’, ‘Share this story’, and a download button represented by a downwards arrow. Tap the downwards arrow. If available to download, the button will start to fill or a loading spinner will begin to rotate. Once the story has downloaded the button may change to a checkmark or turn a different color. And that’s it. To read your downloaded stories, navigate to the main app menu (accessed by clicking your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen), click on ‘My Library’ or ‘Reading Lists’ and look for a filter or new tab labeled ‘Offline’. All of your downloaded stories are listed within this section and can be read without an internet connection. Quick.

To be honest, the stats don’t matter that much when talking about a character as great as this. She is very determined, talented and quite calm and collected. But the calm collected model can go from cold to very passionate in a second!
This age is irrelevant. She is a strategist, a model, a competitor. This age is but a footnote to her wider role within the Galar region and its themes of performance and legacy.

As someone who devours both traditional ebooks and webnovels, I’ve recently found that the ultimate answer to this eternal conundrum is to simply invest in an Android e-reader. Yes, they’re typically very expensive, but for me, they’ve been well worth it. Because, unlike traditional ebooks, webnovels can usually be read through the full, official app experience on these Android e-readers – all without having to convert or worry about any potential loss of formatting or missing comments. My Kindle is still much-loved for my proper books, but my Boox e-reader has taken center stage for my web serials.

The collective fandom's decision not to find out and not to ask is far more interesting than any single answer could be. It’s a fascinating practice that shapes the way the fandom operates and outlines its boundaries. Cool.
