Are There Services To Listen To 50 Shades Of Gray Audiobook Free?

Been hearing the Fifty Shades audiobook performances are incredible but can't find it free. Audio platforms like Audible cost a lot. Any legit library apps or subscription trials for Grey and Ana's story?

Many free audiobooks are available from public libraries that offer the books through apps like Libby or Hoopla with a library card. You can also sign up for a free trial of Audible with one free credit to choose a title. For more on this topic, books like Ruin Me, Daddy: 50 Shades Darker Compilation can provide more insight into the romantic, intense, controlling, and oppressive tension and dynamics found in books like Fifty Shades of Grey. This book is a compilation and explores the psychological dynamic of controlling and surrendering to another person, typically in a negative or unhealthy way, similar to what is found in Fifty Shades of Grey and other similar books and often leads to much discussion among fans of this genre who enjoy darker, more obsessive and often unhealthy portrayals of such dynamics.

So you want to know about some of the platforms offering free audiobooks? I’ll give you a rundown of them and we can see if any of them are offering ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ to listen to for free. I am using Audible for this purpose as they offer a free trial for new members, and I get to choose one of their audiobooks to download and listen to whilst on trial. You just have to remember to cancel before the trial period ends to avoid being charged.

Many local libraries have joined forces with services like OverDrive and Libby to supply libraries with thousands of audiobooks that can be downloaded straight to your iPod or MP3 player. These can be borrowed for free using your library card and include bestsellers such as ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’.

You can also check out apps such as Hoopla which have an arsenal of audiobooks that you can borrow for free. As long as your local library is covered under Hoopla, you can borrow ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ and a variety of other audiobooks, all for free and with no waitlists. All you have to do is download the app, sign up for an account with your library card, and you can start listening to free audiobooks within minutes. It’s so cool.

It’s a bit of serendipity, but I’ve found a couple of ways to listen to ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ on audio for free. Of course, every audiobook site offers free trials for sites like Audible. My only caveat here would be to make sure you remember to cancel your free trial before it expires to avoid paying for something you were using for free.

And your local library will also lend you audiobooks to listen to on the go, through apps like Libby (for loans from your local library) or OverDrive (for loans from any library in your state or country). So you could be listening to Anastasia’s encounters with the enigmatic Christian while you’re on the move – on the way to work, for example, or while you’re out for a walk. Free!

Another option that’s worth a look is Scribd, which may also offer a free trial period. As a result, readers can get into the world of ‘Fifty Shades’ without parting with their cash – almost as if the publisher wants them to get hooked!

This is how I am managing to enjoy Fifty Shades of Grey as an audiobook. Now you know how we can enjoy stories and adventures discovering them. Many of your local libraries have huge collections of free audiobooks on OverDrive and Libby. Fifty Shades of Grey is available to borrow on these sites too.

Lots of apps also offer free trials of their memberships, such as Scribd. Of course, you could always just pay for the book to listen to Christian and Anastasia as audiobooks too (although they are really so delicious and another great story, so I hope you enjoy them too!). Happy listening to find new adventures on audiobooks.

I think most books are still under copyright, so people offering them for free to read online are stealing them. These websites are full of malware, are covered in extremely invasive ads, and half the links don’t work. I found this out the hard way a few years ago with a different book, and I got a virus from it that was extremely difficult to remove from my computer. Support the author and the rest of the industry even if it’s just for a short period of time and you can get it through your local library. Library books are available through your local library through apps that are safe, easy to use, and won’t have you clicking on pop-ups pretending to be virus scans in the middle of a chapter.
