His features tightened for a moment, like he didn’t like the fact that I was ordering him. I feared that he wouldn’t but he did, surprisingly.
As I stumbled back, almost losing my footing, he let out a genuine laugh that made my face burn in embarrassment. I shot him a death glare, and there were swear words ready at the tip of my tongue, but he cut me off before I could use them.
