Behind the Amen
Grace Williams grows up believing that faith means prayer, obedience, and trusting God without question.
Raised in a loving Christian home, she learns about kindness, integrity, forgiveness, and perseverance from her family, teachers, friendships, and the people who shape her life. As she grows from a curious child into a young woman, Grace begins to discover that faith is more than the words spoken in church or the prayers that end with “Amen.”
Life brings difficult choices, unexpected relationships, painful lessons, and moments that challenge everything she believes about love, trust, obedience, and God.
As Grace searches for answers, she must learn to distinguish between faith and fear, love and control, truth and manipulation. When the people she trusts most begin influencing the choices that shape her future, Grace must decide whether to remain silent or finally listen to the voice within her.
Because sometimes, the greatest battles do not begin during the prayer.
They begin after the “Amen.”
