E.P VALE
Claire Williams has spent the last six years taking care of her younger brother, Daniel, after losing their parents in an accident. She had to leave school and start working to keep them going, but life has never been easy. She struggles to pay their bills and keep a roof over their heads.
Things get worse when Claire is accused of stealing money from a client's house and loses her job. With an eviction notice giving her only seventy-two hours to pay her rent, she desperately starts looking for work. That search leads her to a live-in nanny position at the Vaughn Mansion.
Ethan Vaughn is a wealthy businessman and a single father to ten-year-old twins, Liam and Lily. The children have already gone through several nannies and have no interest in allowing Claire to become another permanent person in their lives. They do everything they can to make her leave, but Claire refuses to give up because she needs the job.
As Claire spends more time with the twins, things slowly begin to change. Liam and Lily start trusting her, and Claire becomes someone they can depend on. Ethan notices the difference and, before long, he starts noticing Claire in a way he never expected.
Their relationship slowly changes from employer and employee into something neither of them planned for. But just when Claire begins to feel like she has finally found a place where she belongs, Camille Laurent, the twins' mother and Ethan's former fiancée, returns.
Camille wants her family back, and she sees Claire as the biggest obstacle standing in her way.
With jealousy, lies and old wounds threatening everything they have built, Claire must find out whether Ethan will choose her and the children—or whether falling for him will only leave her with another broken heart.
