There's no time for me to get mad. I say anxiously, "Tell him to come to the hospital now. Ivy has had an allergic reaction and is waiting for him to save her." Clinton Reeves says impatiently, "Gemma and I are just watching a soccer match. Do you have to joke around with Ivy's life? I'm so disappointed in you." Later, Ivy dies in the hospital, her body covered in rashes. I wipe my tears and call Clinton once more. I say icily, "Let's get a divorce." The first thing I hear is his and Gemma Walken's laughter. After a while, he says, "Sure, but Ivy is mine."

Now? She’s so in love with me she’d do anything.” The Beta laughed in agreement. “Exactly. Who would’ve thought the proud and untouchable Clary would become this obedient and gentle? Honestly, she’s nowhere near as interesting as that Omega, Isabelle.” I stood frozen outside the door. I was Clary, the once proud and untouchable, now quiet and well-behaved she-wolf Alpha James was talking about. My wolf let out a pained whimper in my mind. I had come to tell him that I was pregnant with his pup. However, there was no need now. Since he wanted excitement, I would take our pup and disappear from his world forever.

But I promise that I'll reduce the visitation times in the future, so please stop being unhappy with me, okay?" With red-rimmed eyes, I push Chris' arm away. "Alpha Chris, let's sever our mate bond."

On the fifth year anniversary of my marking ceremony with Alpha Gabriel Blackhound, I got sprayed by a blast of high-concentration silver powder that was ejected from the jewelry box I had opened.
