“Nice,” I said with a smirk on my lips.
“Sir, it's already 11:30 PM,” he answered, with a soft smile playing on his beardless face.
“Still early,” I hissed, and I walked outside, slamming the door behind me.
The winds howled down the empty streets, swirling around the leaves in the air as the rain rushed down, dampening the soil beneath.
The lightning ignited the sky, sending roaring thunderbolts that threatened to destroy anything that stood in its way.
