I absolutely loved reading about Kenby and Elias! you are a wonderful writer and I can't wait for book 2! keep up the great work! (constructive criticism: spell and grammar check a few times, there were a few mistakes, but nothing bad, just a few overlooks I think! great job!)

SPOILER I really enjoyed the story (I read both books). I love Kenby's character but I am confused with certain things. Throughout the whole book I thought that Elias and Kenby were mates or end up together and that's why they had such a deep connection but she ends with someone else...

The First Alpha

The First Alpha

Just when she was offering her last prayers to the river goddess, she thought her water broke. It can’t be! She panicked. She was unusually big for someone whose baby was only a six-month-old fetus. She clutched her stomach in pain and was filled with remorse for wanting to end the little one’s life when she thought about killing herself. How could she forget him? She knew it was a boy. She chanted under her breath, distracting herself from the pain that pierced through her body with each contraction. The waters of the Nile shuddered at the sound of the baby’s first cry. The moon emerged out of the clouds wanting to take a peek at the newborn; the first alpha.

Another good chapter. I have to say that you have definitely upped your game with this book. I am no doubt a fan of your other story but this one hooks me in right from the start. The chemistry between the characters is amazing,,would like to read more soon, cheers!❣️

CHAPTER 4(THE FIRST ONE)- TITTLE: Zander Mansion Soon, it's morning, and thanks to last night I had a rough sleep, and you know, when people say they woke on the wrong side of the bed, they are just trying to tell you they are mad. Well, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, like literally, I woke up on the floor and not on my bed, and I would like to know why, but unfortunately, you just can’t see in your sleep.

Frequently Asked Questions

The journey of the 1st edition Nook began back in 2009 when Barnes & Noble aimed to make waves in the e-reader market, long after Amazon had shaken things up with the Kindle. This was a time when many readers were hesitant about making the switch from paper to digital, so the Nook had a challenging road ahead. It launched with a 6-inch E Ink display and a unique design featuring a color touchscreen at the bottom, which was quite innovative for its time.

I remember that excitement in the air back then! It felt like we were on the verge of something revolutionary. Digital reading was evolving, and here was a device that promised to change the way we would read and purchase books. Nook also had a distinct advantage with Barnes & Noble’s extensive physical presence; users could actually visit stores for device support and e-book downloads. This charm made it feel more reliable and personable compared to purely online competitors.

By December 2009, just in time for the holidays, the Nook made its debut, quickly gaining popularity, partly because it allowed users to lend e-books, creating a sense of community and interaction that sets it apart. Also, the ability to access the Barnes & Noble e-bookstore directly on the device made purchasing new reads incredibly simple. Looking back, the Nook generation was like stepping onto a digital porch, inviting us all to gather around and share stories in a whole new way.
