As always. She's now seventeen and her life seems to run out of light. She prepared herself. He knocked twice before walking into the office. *** The First One was staring at the prettiest one in the group and trying to look interested in the others but it was difficult resisting her charm. The First One made a joke and they all laughed. She was beautiful, gorgeous and perfect. The First One finished addressing the group and left them. He headed for the parking lot. Today had been quite an exhausting day. Just like the others, he was dedicating a lot of time towards knowing her. He already knew her turn-on, turn-off, taste, daily routines and even her bedtime.

I held my breath and tried to push her hands away. When I heard her quietly crying, my hands stopped. Then, Jade turned to face me and kissed me suddenly. Warm breath was near my lips. For a moment, I forgot to push her away. Jade took the chance and wanted more. I quickly pushed her and slapped her hard. We both breathed fast after stepping apart. All we could hear was our breathing. People nearby whispered. “You’re crazy!” Jade covered her face but smiled happily. “Then, just think I’m crazy.”

The atmosphere inside the car instantly turned icy. She turned away again, presenting me with the back of her head and making it clear she had no intention of continuing the conversation. After a while, I took the initiative to break the silence: “What’s the name of this marriage candidate? I should at least know who my future husband is. “If he’s some eighty-year-old grandfather, I’ll need to stock up on heart medication in advance.” Her eyes remained closed. She didn’t even bother looking at me. “Julian Cooper. About your age.”

Melanie mirrored my actions, pulling out her phone. Awkwardly, we came to stand even closer to each other. As our tights were pressed, I could feel her warmth reaching my skin through our clothes. My heart was pounding in my chest faster than the beat of the song we were listening to. It wasn’t my first kiss, but it was my first with the same sex. Biting my lower lip, I checked her perfect face. She was wanted by many, but I was going to get a kiss from her tonight.
