When Best Friends Kiss
A whimper escaped me, and I surged forward, closing the distance between us.
Our lips met, and it was like a circuit completing. The kiss wasn’t soft ; it was deep and hungry from the first second, like a confession and a claiming all at once. The taste of salt from my tears mixed with the unique flavor of him. My hands fisted in his shirt, pulling him closer, as his arms locked around me, one hand cradling the back of my head.
The world narrowed to the feel of his mouth, his tongue, the hard press of his body against mine. The kiss turned feverish, desperate. I felt alive and aching in every bone.
