Forceful Marriage: Young Master's Mute Wife

Forceful Marriage: Young Master's Mute Wife

Jessica then looked at the third message. Compared to the first simple "Happy New Year", this was not a duplicated and reposted New Year's Blessing. He wrote, "One year is over, one year is the beginning. I want to tell you every year from now on. Good bye old year. Hello, new year." Jessica's heart seemed to be touched. The relationship between her and Blake was too special. There was too much content in this message. She thought back to a few days ago, when he had been attentive to her. She remembered that a few months ago, they had been shuttling through the streets in a motorcycle.

none of the books I'm reading are updating...(3) and will be reluctant to start another,, and 2 that do usually update of the 3 more frequent as the one which is not at all, only allows minimal time to read..less than an actual chapter, they act like its a few when still on same scenario and events.

if you haven't start, don't read this book. the storyline is nice made you want to read more, but start chapter 100+ the translation is horrible and seems like they use kids to translate even changed names so many times TERRIBLE. however ppl who started wants to know the end so no choice but to read

1st Death

1st Death

“It was always weird to me how he died, but we moved on from it anyway.” Next thing they knew, they were throwing their mortarboard hat towards the air in celebration of the next step of their lives and to move past the misery of that year. That was also the first time Albert made the slow dance towards Margaret’s lips, which never did connect. “And now that I’m thinking about it, I wish for nothing else but his lips on mine…at least for a moment.”

A Year of Punishment

A Year of Punishment

Zann was braiding my hair, holding a piece of candy, smiling warmly as he said, “Neve, when I grow up, I’ll build you a castle and make you the happiest princess.” Trembling, I mustered my last ounce of strength. With bloodstained fingers, I slid across the screen to send my last message. [Zann, I’m not waiting anymore. My life repays you and Wanda. Bury me with my parents.] Each word drained every ounce of energy from my body, as if pouring all the grievances, agony, and despair of the past year into that brief message. When the message was sent, every shred of burden was lifted. I closed my eyes, utterly drained.

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

The years on the world of red sun and grey dust were not counted in seasons, for there were none. They were counted in songs. The first year was the Year of the Single Note, when Aevon had spoken the word "green." The second was the Year of the First Chorus, when the twelve children learned to sing the rediscovered lullaby together without tears. By the fifth year, their courtyard was no longer a courtyard. It was the heart of a thriving village they called "The Cradle."

Lost And Found By The Billionaire

Lost And Found By The Billionaire

It was very low, almost as if she had been crying. “It’s… been a year since our wedding. I can’t believe it, honestly. Just a year ago, everything was fine. I thought I would have the most beautiful life ahead with you. I never thought that we would be spending our first anniversary like this. I never imagined that you wouldn’t be by my side.” I heard her sniffling, and it killed me that I couldn't move to wipe her tears away. Fucking hell. God must really hate me. “I just… miss you a little extra today.” She said, “Happy anniversary, baby. Please come back.”

After I went to another world, The Alpha regretted

After I went to another world, The Alpha regretted

I whispered to myself, the name feeling foreign now. I faced the moon, hands clasped in prayer, making my silent wish. This year's anniversary wish was to leave successfully, to never again have to hear their thoughts. [Countdown: three days.]

Desired by the Twins

Desired by the Twins

I already sent a message to my mother that I might not be able to go home because Josh and I will be celebrating our one-year anniversary. A smile bloomed on my face as I inhaled the air and walked my way to the nearest bakery shop to buy a cake. I can only afford a small and cheap cake, but I hope Josh will love it. I will give it to him along with a letter I wrote. We've only been dating for a year but I really love him.

Between two worlds

Between two worlds

Our journey wasn’t just about where we were going—it was about the steps we took, together, every day. And with that, I realized that no matter how much time passed, I would always cherish this first year. It was the beginning of something beautiful, something that would last a lifetime.A year had passed since our wedding, and life had unfolded in ways I had never imagined. The challenges and the triumphs, the joy and the sorrow, had all been part of a journey that had brought us closer—closer to each other, to our dreams, and to the people who made our lives so special. Leo and I had built something beautiful, and though it hadn’t always been easy, we had come out of it stronger, more in lo

What's Love Without A Second Chance

What's Love Without A Second Chance

I swallowed, letting myself remember how it all went. ~2018~ We were in love, so in love and it seemed nothing in the world would pull us apart. We made love at every given opportunity and I was the happiest man in the world. As we approached our first anniversary that was supposed to be in January, I wanted to surprise Olive with a vow renewal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Nothing captures the sweetness of a first anniversary like poetry that feels both tender and personal. I’d recommend something like Pablo Neruda’s 'Sonnet XVII'—it’s got that raw, intimate vibe that perfectly mirrors the 'we’re still figuring this out but it’s magical' phase of early love. Lines like 'I love you as certain dark things are to be loved, / in secret, between the shadow and the soul' just hit different when you’re celebrating a year of shared inside jokes and sleepy morning talks.

If you want something lighter, Mary Oliver’s 'Wild Geese' has this comforting rhythm that feels like a cozy blanket for relationships. It’s not a traditional love poem, but the way it talks about belonging ('You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves') could be a beautiful nod to how you’ve built a home in each other over twelve months. Bonus points if you pair it with a scrapbook of your first-year adventures!
