If the World is Ending

If the World is Ending

" It doesn't have a body but I can imagine its dumbfounded face when I asked a completely out of nowhere question. I wasted no time waiting for it's the answer "Silence means yes." Then, I look blankly on the white space and think about an image of a glass table and sofa. Before the system can even ask what I'm doing, those things suddenly appear midair in front of us. "How can you do that?" It whispered, sounds kinda helpless to me. 'Yup, just like the novel.' I thought and a seat comfortably before starts seriously asking some necessary questions. "Okay? How can I redeem my world from that? Saving the world? That sounds bad for me." How can I prevent a world from ending if I can't even sav

THE HABITAT

THE HABITAT

His friends, continued to listen. Alex asked again, "What do you mean about boarders?" Christian continued, "She said that there are other worlds other than the marshland. We already know there's the forest, where Noel came from. And there's still more. She said tunnels appeared connecting these worlds and this will become more dangerous if this goes on for the reason that creatures from different habitats may go from one place to another. Some will die and some will thrive hence can bring chaos in different places. That must be the reason why Noel has entered this in the first place."

Dream World

Dream World

He walked towards it. "This isn't just a shrine, or a place to call the gods." Reyan said as Skye stopped outside the house and looked at the two ‘people’ sleeping. "This place is – " he said and took a deep breath as Skye touched the cheek of one of the two ‘people’ sleeping. " – the place where worlds meet." He said. Skye’s tears fell on Hierro's cheek. "Hierro..." he called, then looked at the one sleeping beside him.

Saving The World Together

Saving The World Together

Han Qing remembered the abnormality of the fountain and questioned. Tian Tian nodded softly, "The fountain in this house is not connected to any water channel. This limits the water in it and no new water is added. Furthermore to make sure that both the worlds meet the practitioner made sure that the fountain had two way flows at the same time. The same amount of water flowing in and out from the same stream always keeping both the worlds constant." "Then how did it disbalance?" Han Qing had a lot of questions that made Tian Tian ponder upon.

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

“It will be much like it was at the World’s Fair opening, Evelyn. Simply follow my lead. Can you do that?” Evelyn’s pulse kicked up a notch. Their trip to the World’s Fair had been like visiting an alternate existence. It went beyond simply politely 'familiar'. That had been an imaginary World of Tomorrow where the natural hierarchy and boundaries of wealth and social status had been erased, like the idealized Democracity or the egalitarian Futurama. Where people attracted to one another were free to explore that gift in each other's company without question.

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

When Two Worlds Collide

When Two Worlds Collide

I knew from the moment I met her that she was different but I still cannot explain the pull I feel towards her. "I really want you to know I don't care if you're broke or rich, I like you for you." She whispered in my ear "Thank you," I said with a slight blush forming on my cheeks "but it was just so much for me to take in when we went to your house. I was just so worried and still am worried you would never go for someone like me when you realize how different our worlds are." "It's never easy when two worlds collide." She whispered looking down at the ground as she thought on what I had said

Between two hearts

Between two hearts

Dexter brought up the bright idea to explore animals overseas as a pass time for our so called ‘honeymoon’, I don't mind, anything to stay away from my blood sucking demon of a mother. I've done nothing but go to different Safari's, tried different African cuisines, bungee jumping, basically done everything I could possibly do on the itinerary. Dexter and I however have avoided each other like a disease, different hotels, different itineraries, different paths all through the last week and I am loving every last bit of it.

Redemption’s Sweet Surprise

Redemption’s Sweet Surprise

“Okay.” We stood there in the quiet, in the bridge he had built, our hands almost touching, the structure around us holding firm. The integration was no longer a blueprint. It was a lived-in, breathing reality, full of echoes and rainbows and the terrifying, wonderful uncertainty of a door left ajar between two worlds. The redemption was no longer a destination. It was the space we were learning to inhabit, together.

Alma between two worlds

Alma between two worlds

And she knew that sooner or later she would find out everything. And that when that moment came… everything would change. The next class began, but Alma was only half-listening. Her mind was absorbed by the revelation Kaelen had just made. She slowly turned her head towards him, her gaze filled with curiosity and caution. “You want a world of peace between wolves and humans?” she repeated, as if trying to make sure she'd understood correctly. Kaelen didn't look away. Of course! Here is your text with dialogues enclosed in English quotation marks:

WORLDS COLLIDE - THE SACRIFICE

WORLDS COLLIDE - THE SACRIFICE

On the cupboard, Nick and Rachel kept smiling, frame angled a hair further toward the mantel as if memory itself wanted a better view of the war. They muscled the boxes to the ute. On the ridge road, Gabe stole a last look at the reef. The slick circle out beyond convulsed and collapsed. Phosphorescence pulsed where the temple slept—a gate beating like a heart. Far along the blue line south, something vast cut toward Sydney. The newspaper lay open on the dash, that bad still of a city’s worst night: werewolves on taxis, winged shapes over the Quay, a blade of light on the steps.
