20th Birthday Party Decorations Novels & Stories

Audrey’s POV The house looked like a dream. Pink balloons floated right up on the ceiling while silver ribbons curled around the pillars and stair rails. One side of the party looked like a royal Cinderella ballroom with shiny blue decorations and tiny crystal shoes placed on tables, while the other side was soaked with Barbie pink, sparkling banners, and miniature doll boxes for the children to pose inside. It was chaos, beautiful chaos, and somehow, despite my insistence on keeping things small and intimate, the birthday had become far bigger than I planned.

We both stepped into another hall that had been prepared for the after-party. The party was a blast! The decorations were spectacular, with Mickey and Minnie Mouse balloons, a Cinderella castle centerpiece, and a life-sized cutout of Goofy. The music playing in the background added to the magic of the evening, with classic Disney tunes filling the air. Leopold really went all out, and I felt like a kid again. I couldn't wait to join in the fun and celebrate in this enchanting setting. It was the perfect choice to bring fun and magic to our special moment.

It’s my 21st birthday party and everyone put in a lot of effort to make this party this grand. The tables are all draped in gold table clothes and vases that make it hard to see the person in front of you stand center stage. But to be honest the people that are sitting on those tables don’t need to see the person in-front of them because they’d be too busy gossiping to care.

Chapter 33 My mouth remained slightly open as my eyes started to well up with tears because of what I am seeing right now in front of me. The whole backyard is full of color pastel pink, light pink, and gold decorations. There are tables, chairs, and lights. There are also long tables for a different types of foods with I think waiters on the left side of the backyard. There is even a big stage that has also stunning decorations especially the big size color fuchsia pink words "DEANDRA @ 18" that I think was made of hardwoods.

There were so many other funny characters that matched the theme of the party that Ava had planned, and everything was going in beautiful order more than what she would have expected; Exquisite, without much childishness. A large banner with neon lights displayed the words "Happy 5th Birthday to Autumn and Evan!" in bold and funny letters, capturing the essence of the occasion. The entrance of the house was adorned with a majestic archway and adorned with beautiful flowers and twinkling lights, to welcome the very few guests that she had invited to the party.

Delilah and I spent the morning letting them help plan their second birthday party. It was a bit like herding kittens. Especially with Dre and Xander wrestling and laughing over a xylophone toy. We settled on dinosaurs and butterfly decorations and a chocolate cake that will have a T-Rex with a tutu as a topper. Delilah tells me if I can take care of making the favor bags and passing out invitations, she, Ashley, and Mrs. Miller will take care of the rest of the details.

The twins adored her, and she was incredibly good at her job. |ONE HOUR LATER| An hour later, the party was in full swing. The grand living room of the Carter home had been transformed into a vibrant celebration space, decorated with balloons, streamers, and a variety of other colorful decorations, all in line with the theme for Evelyn and Evan’s birthday party.

After a couple of minutes, I decided to wear make-up just for the big day. Mila and Sophie both got me a complete glam set, back when I celebrated my 21st birthday, and I haven’t even opened it since then—it’s been exactly a year, and I’m even close to my 22nd. Unlike them, I never really had extravagant parties—aside from the fact that I didn’t have the money to spend, I just didn’t like big parties with too many people. It’s suffocating. Ever since then, I have been celebrating my birthday with the two of them, a cake and some pizza, and that’s it.

ONE YEAR LATER It had already been a year and we were setting up for the girls' first birthday party. There was a bouncy castle and streamers and balloons all over the outside of the packhouse. We had a station set up to get their faces painted and we had a station set up for balloon animals and we were really going out. We did a similar thing for Connor on his birthday but his was all spiderman themed. This one was all girly themed. They didn't have a favourite fairy princress yet or anything so we just went with a pink and purple theme for the party.

The living room lights had been dimmed to a warm, sultry red. Fairy lights twinkled across the ceiling like captured stars, and balloons drifted lazily above a mountain of blankets and pillows that had been arranged into one massive, inviting nest on the carpet. Three empty pizza boxes lay forgotten on the coffee table, next to two half-drained bottles of rosé and one full bottle of tequila. It was Scarlett's twenty-first birthday, and her four closest friends had thrown her the kind of sleepover that would never be spoken of outside these walls.
