Meant To Be HIS

Meant To Be HIS

I was halfway through gulping down the glass of water when I spotted from the corner of my eye, the little book I had gotten from the lobby area. Much to my surprise, the book was not a brochure or a magazine of some sort as I thought it was, it was actually a devotional from a local church situated not so far away from the resort. I opened the first page and was in awe of how encouraging the words were at the introduction. I decided to take a seat as I read through the first topic.

Sarah
Really good follow on from the first book and I love how you have incorporated Christ in this book & their love story. As a growing Christian this was lovely to read, it didn’t have as much steam as the first book I can understand why but definitely drama filled.

Owed to the Devil

Owed to the Devil

Isla – POV The ride felt longer than it should’ve. Caleb didn’t say a word the whole time. Not that I was expecting a chat, but still the silence was deafening. I sat there, heart pounding, fingers fidgeting with the hem of my coat, my mind racing. Life has been cruel ever since I was little It has always been like this But i thought i had a flicker of hope when i went bavk to valerie yeah.... "57" the new number life gave me

THE DEVIL'S POSSESSION

THE DEVIL'S POSSESSION

Today just might be the day I finally escape this gilded prison. A wild rush of adrenaline surged through my veins, thrumming with disbelief. Had fate finally decided to intervene? Just hours earlier, I had felt trapped, convinced there was no way to slip past Lena’s watchful gaze. But now? Maybe, just maybe, the Lord was indeed on my side. Perhaps my whispered prayers had not gone unheard after all.

Embracing the Devil

Embracing the Devil

When he didn't I was getting depressed and often started thinking that I was greedy, clingy, and didn't deserve his attention. Kaisei was completely different. Each day, as soon as I woke up I found new text from him. He wished me a beautiful morning, send a picture of the coffee that he was about to drink, and the sunrise or sunset view pics he did from his apartment. It was sweet, sometimes a little childish, especially considering he was 27 years old, but it was sweet. He was bringing sunrays into my life… I was learning how to smile natural again.

The Devils Temptation; Erotic Short Stories

The Devils Temptation; Erotic Short Stories

In between what felt like marathon rounds of sex, we’d talked and gotten to know a little more about each other, and there’s an odd feeling inside me that takes a moment to pinpoint: hope. Is it crazy to feel hopeful about a man I just met? About a man who is closer to my daughter’s age than mine and who is just starting out in life? Maybe. But I’ve spent decades doing things for other people, and for the first time in my life, I’m finally in a place where the only person I need to worry about—to take care of—is me. Gabriel stirs, breathing in deep as he opens his beautiful maple eyes. He smiles. “Good morning, gorgeous.”

adding, David says, "I think we should start a daily devotion. A bible verse and prayer every morning before we start with the tasks and after the entire day’s work before everyone will be logging-out. We also prepare seconds of bible reading and prayer during noon break after or during lunchtime here in the office with the microphone connected to the intercom all over the area where everyone can clearly hear it. Let's suggest this program to Mr. Heinz first before we start."

The Lie Behind His Devotion

The Lie Behind His Devotion

But once he crossed into outright disrespect, that changed everything. Her posture straightened, mouth curving into something razor-sharp. "Mr. Halden's clearly been with plenty of women already so why the sudden rush to settle down? Running out of options elsewhere? Oh, I remember now statistically, men start declining after twenty-five. No wonder you're in such a hurry." Bryce nearly choked on his own fury, completely unprepared for a divorced woman to speak to him like this. "You absolutely deserve to be put in your place."

THE DEVIL'S CLAIM

THE DEVIL'S CLAIM

I bite back a gasp. Then just as fast he pulls away. He strolls back to his chair, sitting down as though nothing happened. He picks up his glass, takes a sip of whiskey, and gestures at the broken mess on the floor. “Clean that up,” he says smoothly. I glare at him. “Do it yourself.” His smile is pure sin. “Lesson three. Defiance makes me hard, but obedience makes me generous. Choose wisely.” I want to claw his eyes out. Instead, I snatch the cloth from the sideboard and drop to my knees. My hands shake as I scrape eggs and bacon off the marble, bile rising in my throat.
